After calling twice and talking to a manager (Christian was their name) both times I was ultimately refunded (supposedly) the whole order total.
I placed an order in person. I asked for a burrito, beyond meat, No crema, everything else on it was fine. I wanted to add raw onions, cabbage, guac and tempeh. Order came to around $12.49. I thought it was a little high but didn't ask why. I get home and find out that My burrito had No queso, No guac, No tempeh (at least it only looks like beyond meat chunks) and only included the cabbage, crema and onions extra. I call and complain, ask why I was charged so much and still received a completely screwed up my order. I was told the meat beyond $2, guac onions and cabbage were another $1.50 or so . Said they would refund my $1.50. I was fine with this but still curious about the price and wanted to check online. Sure enough, beyond meat online was free to add since we get to choose a protein. I call back a second time and speak with Christian this time (the manager). The whole time they have a passive aggressive attitude. Telling me that I am confused and the website was wrong. Not sure how either of those statements were true I kept pushing and eventually they refunded the whole order. This customer service was less than desirable and the food was mediocre at best. We have been to this establishment plenty of times before and sadly will not be going back to support them after this. Thanks again, I hope you have a wonderful day and for future reference: When you're wrong and blatantly being proven so, please do not tell the customer They are...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this phenomenal tacos restaurant, and let me tell you, it was an experience worth raving about! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a comforting ambiance adorned with colorful decor that exuded warmth and hospitality. The cozy vibe combined with the option for outdoor seating made it an inviting choice for a meal.
Not only was the atmosphere welcoming, but the service was also top-notch. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, readily answering any questions we had and ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the tacos! The menu boasted an incredible variety of options, making it hard to choose just one. We decided to sample several, and each one was more delicious than the last. The flavors were outstanding, and the presentation was impeccable.
One standout feature was the hot sauce selection. As a spice enthusiast, I was thrilled to find an array of options, and the hottest one quickly became my favorite, adding an extra kick to each bite.
In terms of pricing, this restaurant offers excellent value for the quality of food provided. The portions were generous, and every bite was worth it.
Overall, I can't recommend this place enough! Whether you're craving traditional tacos or looking to spice things up with unique flavors, this restaurant has it all. With its inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and mouthwatering food, it's a must-visit for taco lovers everywhere. Trust me, you won't be...
Read more5/5 stars all day. I absolutely love this place. Restaurants come and go in the burg like snow birds appearing when conditions are good and gone the next moment when things have changed. Casita has been here for a good number of years, and in my opinion, has established its place as the go to taco restaurant in the vibrant Kenwood Art District. Casita has both great indoor and outdoor seating. The front patio is great for people watching and the back is lushly landscaped with beautiful palms and quiet to enjoy conversation. The food is incredible. The carnitas is fresh and shredded and don’t even get me started on the shrimp. On most days, I maximize my caloric intake by getting a bowl with chips but if you really want flavor I recommend getting the tacos. The tortillas are the perfect vessel for their delicious, well seasoned meats. To top it off they have awesome sauces that are just the right flavor to elevate the entire meal. Beware—sauces are a tad bit spicy, so if one is accustomed to tame on the heat scale, I’d...
