The first treat of Craftsman House is the beautiful restoration of this magnificent Arts & Crafts bungalow. This house was long abandoned when the owners purchased it & spent months returneing to its original beauty.
The second treat is the quality of art to be found in the gallery. The variety is impressive & constantly changing.
The final treat is the yummy food at the cafe. I usually hit Craftsman House toward the end of a day of antique shopping & love to relax & recharge in the cozy cafe.

Read moreI hadn't been to the Craftsman House in a long time, but l went the other day for the Artists Studio Home Tour which was fantastic. The Craftsman Gallery was loaded with many local art pieces filling all the rooms with color and eye catching designs. It's nicely set up keeping the style of the old house it is, from glass diamond door knobs to push button light switches. The Gallery also has a little cafe where you can buy snacks and drinks. There is a studio outside where an artist can make things and you can sit in the little hidden outdoor area amongst the vegetation. I walked in to ask for a cup of ice and waited 10 mins for him to even come out of the kitchen and when I saw him in the kitchen he was handling food with no gloves and no hair net and he has long grey hair.
