I don't know what has happened but this new crew is awful. Genuinely TERRIBLE and incompetent, don't waste your time or money here. I had been going here for months and they were AMAZING, super nice and fast and efficient, always got it right. But this last week or so they got a new crew working Mondays during the day and they're very incompetent and on top of it all, rude. Not only have they messed up my drinks EVERY TIME but they don't even know how to do simple customizations OR refunds and on top of it all are very rude and don't understand anything. Never any apologies, either, for their mistakes and they act like you are at fault for them not understanding simple orders.
First incident, I ordered a medium peanut butter smoothie. Standard menu item. The "manager in training" couldn't figure out what was meant and argued about whether it was a peanut butter cup or a bunch of other options that aren't even on the menu. Then, I get to the window and they charged me for a large. Okay. Fine. But then the manager claims she couldn't do refunds and would just write our name down and remake it later. So, whatever, a forgiveable incident, things happen.
Then today was the straw the broke the camel's back so to speak, however. It was an absolute fiasco. I tried to order a VERY simple order. A medium iced matcha latte with pumpkin flavor added and an extra large iced matcha latte with vanilla and skim. Oh boy did that create issues. They couldn't barely even understand the order and we had to repeat it a hundred times and they STILL got it wrong. They wrung it up the medium as an iced flavored latte add extra matcha and extra pumpkin sauce. This comes out to be over $1.50 more than usual AND isn't right because we didn't want coffee at all (which the "flavored latte" has)! The "manager in training" then argued saying "it's only an extra 50 cents" and still messed it up and says yet again "well we can't give refunds..." It doesn't matter the exact amount, firstly, you still charged me wrong and tried to give me the wrong thing entirely. It took a horrifically painful process of explaining again and again what we wanted to originally order and they just all didn't seem to comprehend. So, instead of a refund they made us an extra plain matcha. Fine, whatever. Well... as it turns out they messed up my OTHER drink too which I realized too late. Instead of vanilla in the XL they did pumpkin in that one now too! They seriously somehow messed up every single item in my order, acted like I was at fault for their lack of comprehension, and acted put out about fixing their mistake. I just wish I could have had a refund and never take my business here again.
It was a literal circus in there and each of them, professional clowns.
I was so frazzled and frustrated I just didn't even know what to do or say. To mess up a simple order SO badly and then to not even apologize AND act angry you have to fix your mistakes AND act like the customer is the problem just because you don't understand how to properly take an order? Absolute insanity and lack of professionalism.
They need to be retrained or get a different...
