Lots of places to eat and go. Do yourself one favor. Has nothing to do with the motel. Stay away from the Walmart. Rudest employees I've ever come across.

First, it troubles me that I have to give all reviews at least one star. That's aiming a bit high for this one. For $50 a night, what can you expect? Well... I typically would expect that the room was clean, that there would be a phone in the room (at the very least for emergencies) and possibly a do not disturb sign. But hey... I realize I must ask a lot. We called ahead of time to let the desk clerk know we would be getting in after 10, as we had been driving all day from Minnesota. When we arrived, the door was locked and we had to buzz to be let in to check in. The woman took my ID and then went to get the man to complete my check in. He came over to the desk, sat in his chair, and checked us in ( all the while digging in his ear with a Q tip). Neither of the staff memebers' English was great, but we managed to get the room paid and get the keys to our home away from home for the next 2 nights. Our room was on the 2nd floor and it was raining pretty hard. We went up the rickety stairs and entered the room. Upon first glance, it was a typical cheap room. Then, as we were unpacking and getting ready for bed, we found hair in the sink, a large clump of hair on the floor by the toilet, calcium crust on the shower head, and an iron shaped burn mark on the carpet. There was no phone in the room, but a handy phone book in the drawer next to the requisite bible. No do not disturb sign for the door, no alarm clock... there was cable tv though! Sadly, the picture was fuzzy but it was at least white noise. The next day, we left for about 8 hours, to come back to our room not cleaned. There were fresh towels in the bathroom, but the beds weren't made and the clump of hair was still on the floor. I'm not impressed with this location. Fortunately, I only needed a place to sleep so I could watch my son graduate from basic and then take him home. However, I think that this hotel needs some work and could stand to have some TLC and more attention from...

They have security cameras, which made me feel safer.

The room (one king bed) was at least clean and smelled fresh (non-smoking room; not sure if they all are). The air conditioner worked really well ... I actually got really cold during the night, which says something because I can get sweaty sitting in air conditioning without exerting any energy.

They allow pets for an extra $10. (I had a small dog with me. Not sure if the fee is per pet or more for larger dogs or other variables.)

I booked using Priceline for $45/night. When I arrived, the sign outside said $39 and up. Personally, I feel even that seems high for this place. In my opinion, $29 would have been more appropriate.

NO breakfast provided.

Only two outlets, one directly behind bed (matress/box spring was smashed up against the cords and one of the slots didn't work consistently - if the plug was bumped, the outlet would stop working until it was adjusted) and one on the opposite wall with an adapter that had 6 slots.

One of the lamp cords was damaged and I could not get it to stay on.

There is NOT a pool. There looked to be a space where there used to be one, but it would need to be cleaned up and restored.

In general, while the rooms appeared to have some updating (flooring), it could definitely use a remodel as well as some upkeep on the outside as it...

Today (April 9,2023) at around 2:00 pm I called to ask for the price of rooms available. I am on official military orders and just needed a place to stay for a few days before housing became available. I planned on booking online (beds were available), but figure I’d call to cut out the middle man. I am by myself minus my two service animals. Upon notifying the lady (she said her name was rocksh, but changed it multiple times) she began screaming no at me. “No, No, No!!”. She said that there are no animal rooms available and that I was not allowed to stay there. I informed her of not only the ADA act of 1990, but of missouris act as well that legally allows my to stay at any public accommodation with my animals. The worker proceeded to hang up on on me and told me to call her manager when he arrived at 3:00 pm. I called back only to be screamed at some more and hung up again. This is not only terrible business manners but extremely illegal and unprofessional. I am filing a report with the BBB and will contact the states Attorney General to move...
