Don Juan's Tacos and More — Restaurant in Salem

I’ll start off with the easy one. The place was super clean. The food was super good. We really loved the young lady that was working behind the counter. She was just so sweet. Bright faced and kind. Her parents raised her well.😇. It’s always sad when you’re going into a place like that and the food is so good that the place isn’t packed. I wish Table would’ve been full. We really enjoyed the prices. It was super reasonable.. We live pretty far away, It takes us about 40 minutes to get there. But I can tell you that Mexican food in our town and around our town completely.🤮. I went online to try to find the best place to go. This into others. Came up with pretty good ratings. We’ve had bad experiences with all the big places. The food just seems to go downhill. The fancy paintings on the wall just doesn’t make food taste. Don Juan's actually pays attention to order notes, unlike so many others! It's so refreshing! Their nachos are LOADED and I added extra cheese, which is always a gamble, but they did not disappoint cuz the cheese was piled on! I put in the notes to add jalapenos to both my nachos and burrito, as there was no option to add it on grubhub's website. And - yes - both had fresh sliced jalapenos - not the jarred stuff. Their habanero and spicy guacamole salsas are SOO good and worth adding to your order if you like it spicy, like me! I've ordered several times from Don Juan's and they never disappoint! Very clean looking for in dining. The food was really good. I got the rolled tacos. The only thing is they were a tad dry inside, and they could have added a little more sour cream. Wasn't going to buy a side for $4.00, but they could have added more than a table spoon for 7 tacos. My daughter ordered street tacos she they were good, but way too many onions. They only had meat onions and a small amount of guacamole. The "salsa" bar did not have salsa only had spicy sauces. Two sauce containers were not labeled, so I wasn't going to try them.
