Honestly the best pizza place in Salem, without question. I understand that a lot of folks around here will argue that "X local place is the best" - Believe me when I say that I have tried authentic pizza - across this country at that - and La Luciolla is some of the best pizza in this country. We have eaten here probably 60 times and have not once had a bad pizza or bad experience. Phil, the owner, puts high quality craftsmanship into every pizza that's made, and appreciates every person that picks up a pie from his pizzeria. If you have not been to the Fork Forty Food Hall to try this pizza, you honestly have done yourself a huge culinary disservice in Salem. I always recommend to everyone in the Salem/Keizer area every chance I get, that new or old to Salem, the first location you should eat at in Salem is La Lucciola. And tell Phil that I sent you! 👏👏👏

I first tried La Lucciola a few years ago and literally have not been to any other pizza shop in town since. The sauce is out of this world, and the cheese and other ingredients are always top notch too. The prices are super reasonable, I think it's only a dollar or two more than a personal pizza at mod pizza. I strongly recommend the margarita pizza and my husband loves pepperoni. The owner Phil is genuinely such a nice guy, he really went above and beyond for me and my family after I became disabled. Every other staff member I've interacted with has also been kind, professional, and seem to really love their job. I would give La Lucciola 10 stars if I could, I promise you won't regret eating here!

This was my first time here, I finally had a chance to try this pizza. Excellent pizza, Tons of flavor. I was planning on only eating half of this and taking the rest home but it was so good I could not stop eating it I think straight from New York is still one step above this pizza but this place is right on their heels, almost equivalent. Nice thin crust with perfect sauce to cheese ratio. The sauce is perfect, exactly how I like it. Pretty fast too, only took less than 8 minutes or so.

This pizza was amazing. Good price, awesome cookery/service, and such a unique flavor profile! When we went we got the chanterelle mushroom pizza with hazelnuts (both being local ingredients directly from Oregon!) The fruity fragrant taste of the chanterelles went beautifully with the asiago cheese. The house made white sauce melted well with the asiago and made for creamy picturesque cheese pulls. The bitterness of the hazelnuts & asiago were perfect with the sweetness of the chanterelles. One more thing that made this pizza perfect? The man that served it to us. Luckily, we got to chat a bit. His name was Andreas (apologies if I misspelt.) The crust on our pizza was incredible! He did it all seemingly with his own memory and skill with making an awesome pizza. He was kind, chatted with us a bit, and made sure we were all set. A++ for...

I've wanted to try this place since it opened and finally did today. I think this is my new favorite pizza place in Salem, just edging out Christo's and Basil & Board. The thin crust is as close as I've found to the real thing I've had in Italy (thought it could be a little crispier), and the sauce is nice and tangy, not too sweet. The prices are $10-$15 for a 12" pizza, they've also got salads. Even though we went during busy lunchtime, service was fast and friendly, you put in your order and sit nearby and they bring it to you. It's located inside the Fork Forty food court with a bunch of other good and diverse restaurants. You might have to drive around a bit to find a parking spot since it's in the middle of downtown, not in a...
