Food is good and Fresh however, the younger girls at the counter are oblivious as to who’s waiting to order.

Diana was busy helping a couple of older ladies that could not make up their minds, so I was waiting patiently behind them. Two girls came to the counter to take orders. In that time frame the girls could have said “may I help who is next?” Or just say who is next. I could have stepped up an ordered instead they just started taking the order of a couple that almost knocked me over. Then they took the order of a guy standing behind him. I did not say anything because they are older folks, and I did not want to be rude. As the only Hispanic person there I did not want to cause a scene, but I’m really annoyed. Not cool ladies.

UPDATE 9/11/2024* I just wanted to come on here and update my review from a month ago. I returned a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised. I was welcomed with a smile after someone saying, “may I help who is next?” I’m not sure if the shop owner spoke with the staff or it was a coincidence that I mentioned it as a suggestion in my review. Either way I was happy. They were busy but I was in and out in no time. I did not ask for the owner as it was suggested in their response to me as I was satisfied, I did not need to interrupt them they have business to run. I appreciate them taking the time in replying to my review. Ok now the review for the food. The food was tasty as usual. My favorite is the chicken salad. One thing I switched up in this visit was trying one of their cookies. Warning: Big mistake I might be addicted to them so buy them at your own risk!! I had to go buy some for my coworkers and they loved them too. So good.

Original review was 5 Stars on food. 3 Stars on service and 3 Stars on Atmosphere. I think they have now earned 5 stars on each category!...

The Chicken Caprese was outstanding! Luscious.

The boiled dinners were one of the best I’ve ever had! The corn beef was flavorful- juicy and very succulent. The vegetables cooked to perfection with great flavor. This dish was a grand slam. And, to note- I’m not a fan of meat. This corn beef was luscious! On a scale of 1-10. Solid 10

I love meatloaf- a good meatloaf. I rarely find a meatloaf I enjoy other then my own. This meatloaf was so moist and tasty I’m going to give it a solid 10. The scoop of whipped potatoes that accompanied the meatloaf- solid 10. The peas- a little to hard- other then that- outstanding.

Wanted to buy local. Got my kids up and out to buy bagels for 7 of us. Waited in line only to be told that they limit take-out bagels to three “so if other people want breakfast sandwiches they’ll have them”. Who gives a hoot whether it’s me or someone else buying your product, you’re still making money! They said they’d make an exception but I’m not going to buy from a place where I’m scolded for not following the rules - which seem arbitrary at best. I won’t go back and I’ll be sure to share my experience far and wide. Very disappointing. P.S. Spent my money at a giant national chain who didn’t care how many bagels I wanted. Probably spent a lot less than I would have at...
