I rarely leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to share my experience because it was honestly one of the worst visits I’ve ever had to a Subway. From the moment I walked in, things just felt off—but I decided to give it a chance. Big mistake.
I very clearly told the staff exactly what I wanted on my sandwich. I wasn’t asking for anything complicated—just the basics, and I even repeated myself politely to make sure everything was understood. Still, when I got to the end of the line and looked at my sandwich, I was shocked. It was like they completely ignored every single thing I said. I asked for multiple toppings, and not only did they forget half of them, but the ones they did include were put in the tiniest amounts possible. When I say “tiny,” I’m not exaggerating. It was almost laughable—like one sliver of tomato, two shreds of lettuce, and the faintest trace of sauce. I’ve seen more toppings on a sample sandwich.
As if that wasn’t already frustrating, the bread was incredibly stale. I don’t know how long it had been sitting out, but it was tough, dry, and had absolutely no freshness to it. You know how Subway is supposed to be known for that soft, fresh bread smell? Yeah, this was the exact opposite. It was like chewing cardboard.
The worst part was that when I tried to politely mention that the sandwich wasn’t right, the staff just kind of stared at me like I was being unreasonable. No apology, no offer to fix it—just a shrug and a “that’s how we do it here.” If that’s how they do it, I’m never going back.
I left the store genuinely irritated and still hungry because I couldn’t even finish the sandwich. It was that bad. I’ve had Subway at many different locations and usually it’s decent, but this one completely ruined my trust in the brand. I don’t expect gourmet quality from a fast food place, but I do expect basic listening skills, edible bread, and at least a little care when making my food. None of that happened here.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Save your money and your appetite and...
Read moreI live in Florida. I received a notification for a purchase. Turns out someone hacked my Subway account and made a purchase for a sandwich. Within 5 minutes of the online order I called the store to let them know, and was told because they made the food, they would not cancel or refund me because it would waste their food. Even though it was funds stolen from me.
Cant contact Subway customer service directly so I had to email them.
My bank can't do anything because the transaction has not yet posted.
As a single pregnant mother with two children, I am flabbergasted how a company can throw their hands up in the air and just say "Sorry...
Read moreI know subway has been undergoing a big rebranding experience to win back people after they were jaded by viral stories (i.e. the fake tuna scandal, Ireland deeming the bread a pastry, etc) but I love this place. It is fast food but it never fails me. It always has a nice crunch to it from the fresh veggies which is hard to find at other various fast food places. They are consistent, and offer things I can only find there - my favorites are the Italian herb and cheese loafs and the sweet onion sauce. It is affordable enough and travels well. They also are accommodating if you want sauce on the side so you can pack it for later and avoid...
