Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Salinas

I have been eating here for several years! I look forward to ordering my pizza from this restaurant usually. I trusted them to feed my family on New Year's Eve, a day that should be happy and exciting! ended in vomiting and feeling sick going into the new year!

The last time I ordered pizza there was fake eyelashes in it! I called the restaurant and no one answered. I sent a request online for a follow up. Never got one. Never got an email response! I called the store three times asking for the manager, who was not at the time. I was finally able to reach someone who said that the manager would call me back! Never got a call back! So I am taking it up with my bank to get my money back at this point. I will never go back at this pizza place again! I'm attaching the photo of the fake eyelashes I found in my pizza!

I am actively looking into reporting this to the local health authority as well! I don't understand how you could allow someone to wear fake eyelashes while they're hovering over someone's pizza! What on earth did you think was going to happen?

I ended up severely sick from the site of this! I threw up! My family was completely disgusted and had stomach aches going into the early a.m. of the new year! So disgusting and so disappointing. I allowed two weeks for follow up and have not gotten a response.

And before your damage control comes up here responding to my message! None of us wear fake eyelashes! So there's only one place at these came from obviously. Who knows what else we swallowed before...

I've gotta say, I was nervous as all heck to try some Westcoast pizza. I live in Syracuse, NY. And between Utica and NYC, I can definitely say I've had some dang good pizza! I figured I'd try a small snow ALPS and six of thier honey garlic wings.

The only complain I've got, is the wings were pretty small. Which sadly, is why it didn't get the full 5 stars the PIZZA deserves Maybe! Maybe it's a New York thing? But I'm definitely used to some pretty big wings aswell. But the sauce? Was great, I'd definitely love to see it on some bigger wings.

So I ordered the snow ALPS small pizza because I wanted to try different toppings, and sauce. Because anybody can put sauce and cheese on pizza right?

The crust, was great! It had that like salty buttery taste you get from a great golden brown crust. The toppings? Well, I can definitely say the tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms are much more fresh than most New York pizza. You can taste the difference.

But the pizza as a whole? If I had to judge this place off of just this order? I'd say buy a shop in New York, I think you'd be surprised at how well you do!

10/10 for my first West coast pizzeria! I'm definitely telling my friends yall...

Horrible customer service. It was almost closing and they were rude had the music so loud that they got my order wrong. The excise was that that's what they charged me for. Stay away from this Mountain Mike's go to a different one. I used to like this place but not anymore I will not go here anymore. If I want pizza there are other Mountain Mike's in town and best believe I am gonna get better service else where. Its worth driving somewhere else to avoid the attitude the girls at this location have.
