Let me start by saying I love chipotle I go to the one in west ocean city at least 2-3 times a week and have nothing but great things to say about that location. Me my gf and my mother were at mall and we were hungry and out of all the places to eat we choose h chipotle because we love it but this location was one of the worst experience's in my life. When we got in line there was a long line 1 person making food 1 on register that obviously was new had to keep asking someone else what to do. So we got up to order they ran out of rice the girl told me it would be few minutes I said OK then I look behind her and there's a hole pan of rice just sitting there mean while there's 6 other people standing around on phones with gloves on. So after I had to tell the girl where the rice was we continued with our order then we get to the meat and which I wouldn't usually complain about this but she was giving me double the meat that I get at any other chipotle then we finally get to register and pay for our order with the guy who I assume was training or new but he was alone while 6 other people are hanging out by grill on phones laughing having a good time then we go to sit down and only tables in the whole place that are clean are the tables that look like they are for children by door which were very uncomfortable for my mother because of her bad backs so she needs a chair with back support then we sit down to eat after this and the rice is hard and undercooked and I go to bring back to hope to get remade and I just see everyone hanging out, guy at register on phone everyone in back is either on phone and another girl whipped her face with glove on. I desided that we would be better off eating what we have. I was gonna ask to speak to manager but after looking at everyone I didn't see anyone who could possibly be a manager. And figured I'd have more result writing a reveiw. Thank you to anyone who takes a few minutes to read my review hope no one else has this experience, just really disappointed after how much I love chipotle. I was a manager at a fast paced restaurant and had some problems but nothing like this place I hope someone takes control of this place because I know how great this...
Read moreThis review is regarding the awful customer experience I had at this location, while grabbing lunch today. My husband and I placed an order online for a quesadilla, and when I picked it up the person who helped me with my order was next to the cashier (she looked Latino). I believe she’s the manager and her name is Kelly or Cally (we asked another employee for her name). She had a derogatory attitude towards me when I asked her for my order. She wasn’t friendly or nice. I came back to ask her if I could get a third side since the order comes with 3 side orders and I only got 2. She gave me a really hard time. She told me to go back and get my receipt and show it to her to make sure I had order 3 sides. I went to get my receipt and showed it to her and told her I had forgotten to include my third side online. She kept repeatedly loudly saying in front of other customers that I only ordered 2 sides. I kindly asked her if I could get a third one since my order had 3 sides included. She continued to say “no” because I only entered 2 sides when I placed my order online. At this point she was heated and raised her voice at me. I kindly asked her I still wanted my third side. She kept coming back with a “NO” answer. Then finally she rudely asked with a very disrespectful attitude what side I wanted.. I asked for the Guacamole and she said she couldn’t give it to me because it was extra charge… at this point I just said “just give me sour cream”. I cannot believe the way she handled this situation. No professionalism, no ethic and no customer skills! I wish she could have gone the extra mile to make my day. She was probably having a bad day or she’s just not a people’s person. I cannot believe Chipotle hires people with no love or empathy for customers… Especially people to be running your business, who are rude to customers and have NO customer skills. Hoping upper management takes action on this matter. I’m sad to say that this location has lost 2...
Read moreWe are regular customers of Chipotle and have never had an issue - this was our first and last time visiting this one. One lady behind the counter was very rude and argued with my husband, claiming a side of rice and beans counted as a veggie bowl. Only a side of rice and a side of beans. We’ve never had this issue anywhere else, as Chipotle sells SIDES. They have always put the rice and the beans in a bowl together with nothing else after we ask for sides and they ask us if we want them together in a bowl. Ridiculous to argue with a customer about something on your own menu and claim she has to charge us more because of a bowl (with the same amount of food in it) Then she wastes the entire already scooped out side of rice and beans (which the first employee in the line had scooped for us when he asked for the sides in a bowl - like EVERY OTHER Chipotle ever has done - so it is easier to eat) just to put another serving into the tiny cups because she could not conceive that it could be served in anything else and proceeded to argue we had gotten a veggie bowl and would be charged as such. Guess what - she is free to put them in the cups and we’d still ask for a bowl so our child can eat them more easily so it’s not really saving the bowl…and the first employee knee we were ordering sides so had given us the side amount but together in a bowl. This confused and flabbergasted the next poor employee who went into a mental frenzy over it. Can’t possibly serve the same amount in a bowl! It has to be the plastic cups so she had to waste the food and the bowl, adding to Chipotle profits because of smart thinking...
