Server was fantastic but the food was not. Maybe it was just an off day. It happens...
I grew up in Thailand, so I was super excited to try out this place. I have to be honest. This was the least authentic Thai food that I have had in the United States. Not a single person with Thai ethnicity was working in the restaurant. Edit: The owner replied to this saying I was discriminating because their weren't any Thai people...This isn't me decimating at all, I love all races and ethnicities. I'm just saying it affects the overall authenticity of homemade authentic Thai food.
The Good: The atmosphere and decorations were beautiful. Like I was back home in Thailand. The server was very nice and tried to help us out through our bad experience. Not once did we ask to remove any of the food off our bill, but the server did it for us. Great customer service.
The Bad: The Coconut Milk Soup was extremely salty. It wasn't even edible. And this is coming from people who love salt. The Chicken Satay was no more than 1 chicken tender split into 4 tiny pieces, each on a skewer. Even the server said that the chef agreed it wasn't right and they did bring us another serving (didn't come out for over 45 minutes after we inquired about it again). Very nice of them to try to make it up to us, though. The Curry Fried Rice was super bland. No flavor. A hint of curry. The rice was very dry and overcooked. The Pork Belly Fried Rice was supposed to have green beans. There were only 2 in the whole dish. The pork belly did taste good though. Again, very dry and overcooked rice. The Mango Sticky Rice was not good at all. We sent it back. The mango was rotten (brown and smelly) and they used regular white rice with a soup amount of sauce. We asked the sticky rice to be served on a separate plate due to a mango allergy, but of course this didn't happen. Before the server could make it back with a separate plate of sticky rice, we told her that the mango was bad. She didn't ask if we want another, so we just asked for the bill.
Overall a very very disappointing experience. Like I said, it could have just...
Read moreSo disappointed. The atmosphere as noted is a bit plain but that's okay with us because we were there for the Thai food. The restroom was immaculate per my husband so that's fantastic. The server was inexperienced but very pleasant.
We ordered papaya salad and Pad Thai. The salad was a bit bland but it was fresh and and we thought it was ok, so had high hopes for our meal. The Pad Thai was basically inedible. It was dry, the chicken was inconsistent with large and very small pieces and very, very dry with an off taste. Overall my dish was very bland - I did order mild spice but it had an overall poor flavor profile regardless of spice level. My husband's Pad Thai was ordered spicy and it was spicy due to raw chilis, but he had to order a side of fish sauce because it otherwise had no flavor and was equally as dry as mine.
Watch the pricing! As mentioned by someone else, the pricing is very unclear. It looks like Pad Thai costs $13 on the menu but since we got chicken Pad Thai, they charged us $15. In my experience, the protein is included in the base price, except for maybe shrimp which likely would have an additional expense. So I guess if I wanted $13 Pad Thai, it would have had only...egg? Never in my life have I experienced that and I've eaten a lot of Thai food. It definitely felt fraudulent and I mentioned the discrepancy to the servers who told me the chicken bumped the price. I did see protein upcharges on the menu page w/ curry dishes but I assumed that was for curry, not all meals. Menu pricing corrections are needed. Not to mention the cans of Pepsi were $3.50. So dinner for 2 of us, 1 papaya salad we shared, 2 cans of Pepsi and 2 orders of Pad Thai plus tip was over $60.
Unfortunately not worth the expense, not worth a...

I recognize that the restaurant just opened and it seems they were not fully prepared.
Upon entering, the ambiance was not very inviting. It felt very plain and lacked a Thai atmosphere, although this is a minor issue. The waitstaff were unfamiliar with the menu and seemed to have little understanding of Thai cuisine. We ordered spring rolls, which were decent—not the best I've had, but acceptable given the local standards. We also ordered red curry, Thai basil fried rice, and drunken noodles. The red curry had only five small pieces of chicken and minimal vegetables. While the flavor was good, it contained added sugar, which seems to be a common practice on the East Coast. The Thai basil fried rice was good but also had minimal chicken. The drunken noodles were tasty but, again, had unnecessary added sugar. We requested everything at level 5 spiciness, but nothing was spicy. If you know Thai food, level 5 should be extremely hot, but we suspected it wouldn't be, and we were right. We also order Thai tea which was very weak and watered down.
Regarding the cost, the menu lists one price, but they charge more. I've attached our receipt and screenshots of the listed prices. This seems fraudulent.
Lastly, there were no hot sauces available. When we asked for red chili paste or a spicy red sauce, the waitress was confused. She informed another waitress, who also didn't know what hot sauce was. We requested Sriracha, and although she acknowledged it, we never received any and the issue...
