Chuck E. Cheese has really lost it's magic since I was a kid. Everything is digital now and the magic of having a big bundle of tickets is gone. But my review is mostly going to focus on the overall experience.
So we came here for my niece 7th birthday, we had her and 3 other children and were charged 211$. We only received 1 free medium pizza and 1 drink cup for 4 kids to share, no care for the adults. We had to pay an additional 50 for 3 large pizzas for the adults and kids to all get their fill, and 19$ for 6 small cups for the adults to drink, as drinks are not included in the party deal.
The birthday star got a wrist band that expired half an hour earlier then the other 3 play cards, despite them all being activated at the same time and never paused. And the adults were not given cards to play.
The prices here are very bad, even with covid inflation and all that. 16$ for a large pizza that isn't much bigger than a store bought red Baron, small cups are like 3 a piece, play cards are 16 for only 30 minutes, it's just not worth it.
The employees were fine, but lacked enthusiasm, and rushed us at the 730 mark when our party ended, even though they were open until 10 and we still had 30 minutes of play time.
The bathrooms were also not clean, I constantly saw staff cleaning the tables, seats, trash cans, but never touched...
Read moreI have loved Chuck E. Cheese since I was a little girl but the atmosphere of the Chuck E. Cheese building has changed so very much from when I was a little girl. I remember there used to be a big stage that all of the crew would come out onto and sing happy birthday to all the kids and walk around taking pictures with all the kids and their families!! I don't remember there being as many games as there are now and they also had a kids play tunnel that went up to the ceiling and around most of the building for the kids to crawl around in and look down at their families!! There was a lot more tables and space for the families to sit with their children and enjoy eating and watching the crew on the stage singing and dancing to the songs that were being played. The machines required tokens back then not cards that you have to scan and there were several token machines around the building for you to get more tokens when you ran out of them the counter to order your food and tokens wasn't connected to the counter with the prizes and both counters were a lot bigger then they are now so there was a lot more to choose from in the prizes. I did enjoy myself at this location and my kids had an amazing time I just really miss the way that Chuck E....
Read moreWe booked the $99 birthday party for my 8-year-old daughter, who had never been to a Chuck-E-Cheese before. We had heard that this was a place for younger (2-7) kids, but she had a blast, and there were older kids there as well, clearly having fun.
Fewer kids came to the party than expected, so they actually compensated and upgraded our package, which was unexpected but much appreciated! The staff was very busy (a bit understaffed), but went over the top to make sure we had a great time! They were absolutely fantastic. And, of course, Chuck E himself made an appearance, which felt genuine and did not feel rushed at all.
The Unicorn Churros were a little tough, but the pizza was very good. I was a little worried because my daughter doesn't like tomato sauce, but she enjoyed this pizza which has very little sauce on it (a good thing for us!).
The games all seemed to be in good working order, and the place in general was very clean and well maintained.
Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable experience for my daughter, and for...
