Worst experience ever! Never going back! When we first walked in to eat. The manager walked right past us to I assume greet someone else, turns around says oh I'm sorry is it 4? No just 3. So we get sat our server comes up. Accidentally calls my daughter a he. It's fine, she just had a quick glance and she immediately apologized. ordered a beer for me and my sister and a cheereine for my daughter and later an orange juice. It went downhill after that.
We ordered our food and after waiting a pretty long time. My food came out cold, my sister's turkey burger was literal mush, it was disgusting. So we waited for our server to come back, and waited, and waited. Eventually we had to flag down another server because ours was nowhere in sight. Her and the manager came over asked what the problem was, grabbed my plate, handed it to the server and said tell them to go warm this up (you don't say that in front of customers) and offered to get my sister new food. Mine came back out about 10 minutes later. The manager sets it down in front of me and sarcastically said we got you new potatoes. The gouda cheese was now a brownish color around the edges. They essentially took 10 minutes to microwave my food. I sat it to the side and never touched it again. Our server again disappeared. So eventually my 9 year old daughter gets up and asks the manager for a refill on her orange juice. She comes back with the manager behind her and the manager goes oh I'm sorry but you have to pay for orange juice we don't do free refills here that was an issue we had no problem paying for another orange juice we weren't aware of that not an issue but it's the way she approached us and I just looked at my sister I said you know what don't worry about it she has her Cheer One we'll just go get her orange juice I kept saying her and she because the manager said we can't get him a refill you have to pay for it so the manager called my daughter at him that I had took an issue with because of her attitude towards us already and the fact that my daughter had got up had her Hood down was talking to her so my sister gets up tells I guess hostess bar whatever tell your manager that my niece is not a him so the manager comes over a few minutes later or the attitude oh I'm sorry I didn't know these kids with these short haircuts makes it hard to tell she just made it worse for herself and kept making worse for yourself all she had to do was apologize I wasn't aware I'm sorry but then to say these kids with these short haircuts I have a short haircut almost the same style you didn't assume that the manager has a short haircut we didn't assume that she could have just apologized so after about another 20 minutes of waiting my sister's wings comes out they weren't super hot kind of medium she doesn't eat them we just you know ask for to go boxes my food still sent to the side they never came back to check on us to see if my food was better they never checked on his period And while the manager is digging herself into a hole trying to apologize I just say can we get our text so we can leave and we start handing the server and another server are food or our plates and she grabs my plane says oh did you want a box for this I said no I'm not touching it you can have it I don't want it they never apologized for anything and eventually we just paid our bill and left it was rude disrespectful the manager was beyond rude and disrespectful we had got to go orders number four all of this we ordered it same time as our food they didn't make my nephew's food right I had ordered a quesadilla steak quesadilla that wasn't right we had to go to another restaurant to eat because we never ate our food except for the one bite I took of my burger and realize it was cold my daughter ate her food she didn't have a problem with it she was fine but if that's how you treat customers will never...
Read moreI am originally from Connecticut and I love pizza. I was excited when a friend also from the north told me about Dj”s. I tried the pizza and it was similar to some of Greek pizza places we had back home. When I order my pizza I order it with light mozzarella and cheddar cheese mix , a little olive oil and I ask them to cut it into squares the way I am used to back home. I am a little particular about the way I like my pizza but I don’t believe what I am asking them is that difficult to do. When they make it the way that I ask I lenjoy their pizza. I have called up to thank them several times for making me an excellent pizza. I have also had to call them when they didn’t make the pizza as I requested it to be. They have forgotten the sauce a few times. They have cut the pizza in triangles and after remembering I wanted it cut into squares they have proceeded to cut it into squares which can’t be done at that point. When they didn’t get my order right I called them to let them know respectfully.. The last several times I have ordered pizza from them I have not had a problem. They have made it the way that I have asked. Today I ordered a small pizza the way I always do . They forgot the sauce again. I called them once again respectful and the manager told me I am constantly a problem, that I should check the pizza before leaving which I have done in the past and the pizza looks normal until you take a bite and realize there is no sauce. So even I had looked at the pizza before leaving today it would have looked normal. The manager then told me to bring the pizza back and they would make me a new one. I told her I didn’t have time to bring the pizza back or wait for them to make another one. I was in a rush to get home because I had company coming. She proceeded to tell me that I am always a problem,, I am always looking for a free pizza and not to come back their anymore. She was completely rude and insulting to me. Not once did she tell me she was sorry that they didn’t get my order right. For the record, DJ”s gave me a free pizza one time because of their mistake. It is inconvenient for me to order a takeout pizza and have to wait another 20 minutes to order another one. Because I didn’t have the time to go back and wait for another pizza, I ate the pizza with no sauce because I was pressed for time and hungry though I really didn’t enjoy it without sauce one of the main ingredients in pizza. The manager told me if I was starving I would eat anything . I don’t know the name of the manager but she was very unprofessional, patronizing, insulting and rude. The customer service at DJ”s is awful. The person who referred me to DJS to begin with will not go there anymore because he also had similar experience. I don’t expect a refund if they cut my pizza the wrong way . I really just want my pizza made the way I asked for it and if they get it wrong, it would be good customer service on their part not to treat their customers rudely and to give a small discount on next order. Pizza is so cheap to make and a company that values their customers would know this. The manager told me not to come back their anymore and I don’t need to be told twice. I will order all my pizza from Caprianos from now on. The people there know me and they value me...
Read moreMy friends and I went to DJ's for a birthday celebration. The atmosphere was beautiful. It was chilly that night so they had the heat on in the outside area. Renovations have been recently made: job well done. But the service was AWFUL. I should have gone to Burger King or McDonald's. My server was a blonde skinny young lady. When I got there she pulled out her notebook and looked at me and said "Are you ordering?" She did not smile, she didn't give suggestions, she didn't even tell me her name. She looked at me like she didn't want to be there. Another friend of mine arrived and as the waitress is picking up app plates she tells her to order and says "yea, go ahead, I'm listenin'". She brought our plates of food she asked if I everything was ok, besides her attitude everything was fine. After about 25 minutes I had to ask other waitresses for the salt, my check, soda. My waitress finally comes back and asks while continuing to walk: "Everything alright?" I asked to speak to the manager. He told me "she's new" (lie, just about all the waitresses were wearing weird leggings tshirts and nasty attitudes). The waitress came back to my table and I told her I already spoke to the manager. she said I hadn't. . . . (I had) then proceeding to confront me about what was wrong. (I'VE NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN, EVER!) I told her I hadn't seen her smile all night, she was not nice or pleasant. Her excuse: She didn't have time to smile because she was too busy . . . then proceeded to tell me why she wasn't around or happy. I asked her "Are you really going to argue at your workplace about MY opinion of your service?" she replied with an attitude "YES!" I made sure she knew that her service was BULLSH* and my tip was going to reflect that. She was the nastiest server (service wise) I have ever dealt with. the other waitress (Ericka) took over our table and finished our night with much better service. I had to make a bathroom stop and passed by the original blonde haired server telling other customers that we were "Crazy". My night at DJ's was not as pleasant as the renovations. The only reason it gets two stars: 1 for the atmosphere and the other for the ok food that DOESN'T make up for the...
