Romano's Italian Cuisine — Restaurant in Salisbury

The restaurants food...The Chicken Florentine being an example is among the best (real food!) available in Salisbury. You'll like it! Their Pizza Deluxe (especially if you add banana peppers) is a masterpiece. Such food...SUCH food (!) deserves a decent wine list - there is only the most basic, utilitarian Vino. BUT, you do have the choice of takeout, and leaving a bottle of your own, decanted and breathing while you go to collect your meal! The house Garden salad is the precise arrangement of crisp, fresh lettuce thinly sliced red onions cucumber and a tomato wedge...carrot... they've been doing for all these years. The wait staff is accommodating and pleasant... Again, you'll like it. There's always too much food; but the nice thing is, after all the flavors macerate together and your refrigerated take out box...the next day, it's even better!! The...fancy-schmancy cheesecakes??...eeehhh...just not Carnegie Deli. You may want to just go ahead and treat yourself to a baklava, made in house...Golden Syrup, English walnuts, the ubiquitous clove...I have a nice, room temperature one waiting for my attention, now that my guests have departed (remember to whisper to the waitress, and she'll wrap one to slip in YOUR pocket for later,...

I hate leaving bad reviews(check my page I mean that), but this has to be one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.

I ordered the spinich ravioli, it wasn't cooked correctly, didn't taste good, didn't go with the sauce it was served with, and I only got 6 raviolis in total (they were not very large) My friend got the lasagna which was also prepared incorrectly, there was no sauce in the lasagna itself just a lot poured on top. They served the noodles like they were expensive and cheese like it was cheap. There was more baked cheese then ravioli on my plate. The "house salad" was a hunk of cucumber, some grated carrots, and a 1/4th of a tomato. The worst part was the "house Italian dressing" was just cheap canola oil with some spices. Revolting.

The whole restaurant felt unclean and worn down. Our server didn't seem to care at all about his job (he was just an underpaid high-schooler but still) And the meal wasn't even that cheap it was about $12 for each tiny plate of food.

One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. 0/10 wouldn't recommend, go literally...

I just want to say that we have been back since my first original review and since then the service has been impeccable! I would like to commend them for addressing the issue and fixing it and since we've been back four five times already in the service has been outstanding every time since then and the food is always quality top notch! I took my family to this restaurant we had heard good things about it and decided to give it a try. When we walked in the place was nice and clean its kind of small but cozy and a little outdated. I looked around the restaurant and realized my fiance' and I were the youngest people in the place in our 40's while everyone else was 60 or above. Our food came out in about 15mins and looked and tasted really good! The food is on time and is excellent. I have been in restaurant and hospitality industry my entire life and know Italian food very well and I have helped turn around several restaurants also help launch new restaurants and do menu designs.
