Waffle House — Restaurant in Salisbury

Great staffI’ve been to the Waffle House on Innes St twice recently, and the difference between the visits was shocking. Yesterday, the service was great — friendly staff, good energy, and overall a welcoming experience. Today was the complete opposite. From the moment we sat down, the staff was talking loudly — and I do mean very loudly — about someone having an abortion. This was in front of families with children who are old enough to understand and ask questions. It was completely inappropriate for the workplace. On top of that, the service was terrible. After 30 minutes of waiting (my GPS shows the time), we were only brought part of the order — the meat — while the waffles were just being started and the steak had only just been put on the grill. Food was sitting out while employees were more focused on gossiping about customers and tips. Instead of asking why we got up to leave, one employee just kept yelling, “Do you want the OJ?” three times across the room. The lack of professionalism was embarrassing. What makes this worse is knowing the staff yesterday provided great service and made the experience welcoming without doing anything extra beyond their jobs. Unfortunately, today’s crew made it clear they didn’t care about the customers or the quality of service. I don't want to leave a star rating at all because its not fair to the staff that kept it professional now matter what...

One of our son’s Favorite places & one of our favorite waitress, Lil Miss Attitude, (thats on her name tag) gave us the absolute best service today & the cooking was spot on. First we got to sit by the window at the counter seats, those are our favorites. Everything was perfect and presented just like it should be. Miss Attitude made sure to provide all the condiments with labels presented to us, they only use name brand it’s a cool look. Love Hienz 57 & A-1 with my perfectly prepared T-bone steak & eggs, hash browns, and buttered toast. A fresh pot of coffee was prepared and served in perfect Waffle House coffee mugs with cream real sugar you pour from a glass jar!!! It was a great meal, prepared right in front of us, served with care, & enjoyed and appreciated by our family all while we played our favorite songs on the jukebox. It's always a problem at this location. The employees are rude and act like you're getting on their nerves. I've ordered from here several times (different items) and my food is never correct. This time I called ahead, waited 10 minutes before I left, got there and still had to wait 15 minutes for the cook to slam dishes and prepare my order. When I finally got my food and got home it was cold and my order was incorrect. I called up there and whoever "Faye" is gave me attitude.
