Pitner Dog Park — Attraction in Salisbury

My boy love this place! This is a great spot to let your dog roam around and socialize. 2 fenced areas--one for smaller dogs, one for larger dogs. You can even use the old fenced tennis court, if you are working on training or have a dog who isn't ready to play with others. There are water bowls and a spigot to keep your dog hydrated. Well put together dog park! There's a basket of less-than-clean (but very dog attractive) toys on each side. Hardly crowded at all, with a majority of the time it just being us hanging out, which is a pro for us because our dog can get nervous, but a con for those who really want to get their dog out there to play. There IS a small dog section (Under 26lbs) but there's only a fence between the two sections. The parks are decently sized, but more of a second backyard...

This is the biggest dog park in Salisbury. It has a few obstacles that you can use to train. They also do dog classes during the day if you're interested. It's connected to a park that has trails with outdoor exercise stations, a picnic area, and a playground for the kids. My one big criticism. There's no shade, it would be great if they could put up some kind of umbrella on the shared fence to help with that, but I think that...
