KFC — Restaurant in Salisbury

Service was fast and friendly food was hot and fresh at our local Rowan Co. K.F.C. 👍 Most chain restaurants tend to be a little hit and miss in Rowan Co. I would go on to say that most (probably the 90% range) of lg chain restaurants tend to be very strong at the grand opening and into the first year. But then start declining after that. Then at the end of the first year mark the decline is much more evident. Then they seem to get in a rut? A rut of poor service and lack luster product. Which is more forgiving in a local mom and pops single owner type establishment. But with lg training allowance and multi million dollar advertising campaigns for the chain store's vs the local owner stores. It's not as easy to just forgive and forget. "The Good News" But now KFC you guys seem to be much more committed to long term strength. Thanks so much for your consistency with a great product. The lady accepting payment at the window was rude. This is my biggest issue here. I got blindsided with some of my credit cards not working when I went to pay and I’m handing her another card and she tells me she’s gonna need the food back if it doesn’t go through. Her tone was just cold and rude, the cards should’ve all had money on them so I’m not sure why they didn’t, but she made me feel like an idiot while paying. After the card works she’s just staring at me, I didn’t know if there was anything else she needed to hand me and she just says “why are you still here.” Honestly I don’t know how someone like this is even allowed in customer service. I told her “haven’t you ever been in a tough spot?” It’s just messed up. I won’t ever come back here.

Also the famous bowl with gravy in the bag wasn’t even closed, so I pull it out of the bag and the gravy is just coming out of the bowl falling on my seat. Yeah. Just bad service all around. Again, will not be...

I placed a mobile order to pick up at this location. This is my first time placing a mobile order with KFC. I went in to pick up my food and by mistake did not read or see the sign that says for me to check in with them first, so I went to grab my food. Mind you I had a dental procedure this morning so I’m a little loopy from the medication so again my bad for not reading the sign. The front desk worker rudely came over to me and said ma’am, can I help you I said yeah I’m just getting my food she said well can you not read, I said I’m sorry no I didn’t read the sign. She said the sign is right there big enough for you to see I said I’m sorry I overlooked the sign. She continued to be rude and smart off to me about me not seeing the sign .she could have easily said Excuse me, ma’am, I need you to check in with me first but no she had to be a rude and hateful.
