We were staying in Park City, UT this Christmas and wanted to find a nice meal to have for Christmas that was affordable. All the options in park city came with crazy per person costs of $100-300 starting prices. $55 was expensive, but much more affordable than others, and the quality of the special brunch was worth it. We were surprised about an automatic 22% gratuity being added to our check, as I did not remember this being mentioned when making our reservation, and would have preferred being told this on the menu. In addition, I would have preferred not being charged $1 in tock fee to use their site to book a reservation, and booking with a deposit was also inconvenient. Not only was it all you can eat, but the food was spectacular. They had bacon labeled bacon, but it’s not your regular bacon, it’s yummy crunchy candied bacon. The best kind of bacon and something special. The salad was deconstructed so you could build your own salad with whatever greens, toppings, and dressing you would like. The avocado toast was also memorable, well seasoned with great flavor. Charcuterie could have had more cheese variety, but the fruit sauce with it went well, and crackers would have been a nice addition. The fruit chutney at the carving station was even better. When we came the Mac and cheese looked like it was sitting out a while and not hot, we tried it anyway and thought it was good but could be warmer/fresher. Later while there a new batch came out it was cheesy, with all the cheese pulls and had good flavor. The new batch was much better than the one that sat out for some time. The mashed potatoes were good. The cinnamon rolls were sweet, moist, gooey, and delicious. My sister loved the cheesecake. One thing I noticed was that a few menu items listed on website were missing at the buffet, which was the sourdough stuffing and Turkey breast at the carving station. However, there were other items there that menu did not mention including pizza (mushroom, pepperoni, and margarita) and ham at the carving station. The pizza was a bit charred on the bottom for some slices, and was not always warm, but was tasty. The ham was okay, could of been more moist/sweeter, but the chutney on top did taste good. I personally prefer ham, so I didn’t mind that switch. I was a little disappointed about the stuffing not being there as that’s one of my favorite holiday sides. The carving station meat , the beef tri tip could of been cooked a bit more, and was a but tough to cut through and eat. The carving station was our lease favorite station, with more tender meat would of been nicer. Our favorites included the appetizer like items with lots of variety and tasted good. The menu did mention scrambled led eggs and it looked like the industrial fake scrambled led eggs hotel serves so we did not eat. We would of been much more excited if a eggs Benedict option was there instead, with a real full egg.

Update to address owner comments: The issues arose the moment we walked in with 2 additional guests (went from reservation of 8 to reservation of 10). The hostess has been consistently rude to our group (making 3 so uncomfortable that they left a few weeks ago). The information you received from your team is not completely accurate. NO ONE from our party asked to split any dishes ever... We always assign one person at the table to pay if there is a dish split for all. We also said 2 checks was fine after she pulled me aside to tell me that NO split checks could be done... we agreed and then my husband was handed a bill for the entire group, not for the split tables. She was quite rude to our group, has made us feel uncomfortable every time we bring in more people (despite the restaurant being nowhere close to capacity when we've come in), and was clearly not interested in finding a solution despite us agreeing to do 2 split checks per table. As for tipping, we generally tip 25% to support our local businesses, so Hamlet got stiffed on cash that he should have received. For the disgruntled member of our party, her behavior was not reflective of our larger group. However, due to the lack of respect we have repeatedly endured and the inability for your staff to be accountable for their missteps we will not be back! ________________________________________ We have been coming here weekly (a large party who spends a ton of money every time we dine) and Saturday was the day that sealed the fate... We will never be coming back. We make reservations every week for large parties at 10am. The restaurant is always open and has never been at capacity and they hassle us every time we may have a few extra folks join... Even though there are tons of open tables. I have always called ahead of time to flag that there will be more folks and each time Silvana, the host and co-owner, makes it super uncomfortable despite there being tons of open tables (we have never seen the restaurant at capacity). The service has been a bit spotty but given this is one of the only spots that will do brunch reservations we have been coming weekly to accommodate our large group...well that ends today. This week, we had 10 instead of 8 and Silvana said we'd be unable to sit together (despite a mostly empty restaurant... fine). She was not interested in seating us near one another until multiple folks had to ask (see photo of how empty the place is). When it came time to pay our server Hamlet did what he's done every week and we pay per couple. Silvana came up to me and asked me if I was the one who made the reservation (I did), pulled me aside and said we'd need to pay in one bill, that it was too difficult to do sepearate checks despite us having done this the last 5 weeks. When we tried to question why she got super defensive so we indicated we would not be coming back (honestly the food isn't worth the terrible attitude when we are weekly patrons)... Gracie, who has seen us come in every week took care of things and gave us all individual bills, although they still had my husband's card and folks had already started to Venmo me bc of Silvana making such a fuss. They went ahead and silently added a 20% gratuity despite really bad service. Gracie, bless her, was the only saving moment.. we usually do 25% to support the local staff and local restaurants but with the hostility Unfortunately, Silvana, who said she was a co owner, has lost our group of 8-12 (depending on the week) given her curt attitude and lack of respect to what would have been an otherwise amazing group of loyal patrons. Other issues to flag: Every week we've had issues with service and food (missing parts of the order, today they said the cook forgot about my husband's grilled cheese and it was burning so they had to cook a new one, overcooked eggs). Cinnamon roll comes out overbaked and missing the topping...Overall inconsistent with food so you never quite know what you'll get. If you like bad service, inconsistent food, and terrible attitudes this is your place!

We went to Emigration Cafe for Saturday Brunch for a family birthday and it was AMAZING!! The only problem was trying to decide which things to choose off of the menu. Everything looked incredible. There were 10 of us so there was quite a variety on the table. I think for the first few minutes after being served the only thing you heard at our table was "this is delicious" and "you've got to try this". The butter pecan cinnamon roll was one of the best cinnamon rolls I have ever eaten and it is a must have if you go for breakfast of brunch. Our waiter recommended the Mojo Pork Benedict it was a perfect recommendation. The Brioche French Toast with lemon curd and blueberry compote was better than delicious. I chose the Sour Cream Waffle with Grand Marnier butter sauce, banana, toasted coconut & maple syrup (however, I opted for french toast instead of waffles). This was to die for. The entire staff was excellent. Very welcoming and our waiter was fantastic! I really need to mention just great they were. The atmosphere was so chill and relaxing. We collectively agreed this was one of the overall best dining out experiences we have had at a restaurant in a very long time. We can't wait to go back.

Wow wow wow I’m glad we accidentally ended up here. The patio for brunch was a perfect experience. Seated quickly, great service with Hamlet, delicious Logos coffee, an incredible menu (cinnamon roll was soooo good), and live music?! We will be back again and again.
