I had a $10 gift card. I tried to order at the counter buy one get one half off and was told I can only do that online. Ok, fine. I sit down and try to order online but my total was $15+ and online would not let me checkout with a $10 gift card and use another form of payment for the balance. I tried to explain my situation to the manager in duty and he refused to help and said I couldn't get the discount if I could not place the order online. I used my gift card to buy my wife a sandwich and left without ordering anything to eat for myself. What a date night(mare)! Thanks for the GIFT card! Go somewhere else next time. Before when I had a problem, the GM called me directly and sent me a $20 lunch order for my troubles. Not anymore. Jimmy John's is becoming too big to give a da** about real customer service. (Also evidenced by the fact that their one star reviews aren't getting a response from management lately. Really shows a lack of caring to address their shortcomings).

Read moreWent in yesterday for the first time. They put two small piece of tomato for the whole thing, not only that but it's a veggie, so it's like leaving the meat out of a meat sandwich for me. They were not friendly like other JJs is whenever someone walks in they welcome you. This one did not. Small thing, but shows they don't care about their customers. Before I finished ordering the guy asked me to put my card in. I had wanted a meal, but it was too late and he threw a little tantrum while I waited for him to figure out the machine. He ended up charging me for the extras without giving me the price of a meal. Unhappy to of paid more than I had to because of his error. Someone making a sandwich for the car already waiting at the window (the sammich was just getting lettuce and Tom’s st that point) The staff woman standing (doing nothing) at the window waiting for the person who takes orders to make the sammich. And someone who doesn’t gafas slicing meat. I was told “just a second” by the dude making the sammich and minutes later told “just a second” by the woman standing at the window who wasn’t doing anything but waiting for the sammich maker to finish. Meanwhile he (silver-hair-mini-man-bun-guy) was speaking to someone on his headset which was not the person slicing meat (who should immediately abandon tomorrows prep to help todays customers) not the kid slicing.
