I made an order this morning at approximately 07:00 this morning and I come in 2 minutes early for my order at 18:30, first there was a line(to which I have no problem, moochie's is a very popular establishment) and as I am waiting the customer at the front had her order bagged with another customer order and they had to remake her order (but didn't offer any sort of drink or anything to compensate her for the wait but did apologize) next person in line took the food they ordered and sat outside only to come back in with a wrong sandwich on her order (something about either a veggie sandwich or not having veggies) now it comes to me I am left standing in the lobby waiting for my order mind you it is now 18:35 ish and so because no one acknowledged my existence I asked if my order was ready to which I stated my name and was told they don't have an order for me told them my name probably close to a dozen times and was told it probably went to the other "downtown" location (that's stupid should be south salt lake seeing as both the city and Google state it's South salt lake) and I showed them my confirmation email stating it was that location, since it was a timed order I was expecting in and out maybe 5 minutes to make it to work on time "since you guys messed up and don't have my order I need a refund I don't have time to wait" to which she said "oh really" threw her hands up and walked away leaving me standing there without anything for probably 2 minutes before anyone would even look at me, when the employee with the jean shorts and leggings came up to help me, she was able to find the order when the other person came up and said they were making it and I said I asked for a refund I don't have time to wait, finally the manager came out finally I got an apology finally I got a refund... But was never given a refund receipt and have not gotten it back into my account yet so who knows about that and I finally got my food leaving at 18:50 and made me late to work. I have been eating moochie's since Don and Joanna had the pottery studio on 933 Edison St, those OG meatballs from the crock pot was what started it all and this has been the single worst experience...

I was very excited to be ordering from Moochies, especially when I saw they had curbside pickup during this pandemic (which I requested). I called in to let the staff know I would be late and the guy who answered was very kind and took the time to look for my order in which he was (at the time) bagging.

HOWEVER, once I arrived, because I had never been there I didn’t know where to park for the curbside pickup so I ended up calling in and was on the side of the building for another boy to answer.. I told him I was there and I didn’t know where to park.. where he quickly said “hold on” and forgot to put the phone on hold because I could hear the staff through the phone saying .. “where’s the order” “i don’t know I never got her order” “there is no order for her” all while I’m listening 🤦🏽‍♀️ Straight away he hands the phone off to another girl who I then repeat everything to.. who just keeps repeating “there’s no one here for that order are you sure it’s the right location” .. when my last name finally clicks, she says “oh it’s right here, you messed up on the online ordering by using your last name instead of your first” (I checked, and it was correct sooo....) she then proceeds to say “well you can come inside and get it” Where I remind her that I didn’t want to have to go inside.. the reason I chose curbside pickup. In which she says “okay well where are you” had she of took the time to listen in the beginning of our conversation I had explained it all to her.. I was by the building but I didn’t know if I was in the right place. Longer story short. I ended up having to go inside and get my food which was upsetting because it defeated the whole purpose of the calls and curbside pickup. The food was great! And my family enjoyed it. But the experience wasn’t.

Not sure if this review is helpful but it was just...

Moved to Salt Lake 2 years ago and was very excited about having moochies 5 minutes away. I'm not sure if it's different management or what but it just continues to degrade in quality. The only thing that is promising when I visit is that like 9 people are always working. Its always looks borderline closed and although the outdoor seating is decent it lacks any appeal to want to sit there and eat. They should just close it In and double the actual indoor area. It's not very promoted to grab a table inside as is. I've only had the Philly until my last 2 visits. The meat and bread are poor quality and portion sizes are pretty inconsistent. So, I Tried the chicken Philly, meatballs and penne, and chicken parm with an extra piece of chicken and it was atrocious. The meat and chicken are just so nasty and the pasta sauce is equivalent to the basic cheapest options at any store with some tomatoes added. This was like 58 bucks and I seriously threw 80 percent in the trash. My dog ignored the chicken! Bottom line Moochies, cut the labor down and redeem the food quality and do something to bring life back to the place. No way you need more than 5 to run the place. IF YOU CANT DELIVER A TOP TIER PHILLY, WHAT IS THE POINT?! YOUR...

Visited here on a Thursday evening with my wife and left pretty disappointed. We ordered a 12" Philly with a side of fries and onion rings and split everything. The fries were awful. They were inedible salty and seriously soggy with no texture. We opted not to finish them. All the veggies in the Philly were cooked to the point of mush which rendered them useless. The onion rings at least had some texture, but they were really simple. We dined on the outside patio and there was trash and food scraps laying around which drew a ton of ants. We couldn't find a table without putting our feet on ants. I think a quick little sweep could avoid this. I would say the biggest positive I experienced was the portion sizes. There was a good amount of fries (unfortunately they were disgusting), there was adequate onion rings, and a healthy helping of meat in the Philly which was a pleasant surprise. We left here full! Unfortunately given this experience though, I don't see a good reason to come back.

Utah, what is going on with our food service industry.... What IS THIS? I can't even eat it. It's all liquid mush. Lets talk about it... I go in, having done an online order for pick up. To reduce the number of people in this generally busy place (lunch hours). Get totally ignored despite letting them know my name and I am here waiting for an online order. EVENTUALLY. I get my food. Excited to eat it, because... subs rock, I get back to work just to find the food shown in the image. You guys have rock stars showing themselves off on TVs at your place and eating the FINEST of prepared meals. What a joke... typical modern American Capitalism at work here. Crap quality, high prices, fancy spokesmanship. I have been here a few times and the experience has always been chaotic, but I chalk that up to lunch hour. This however? Is a disgusting mess of food for the service industry. This is really not the quality expected from local American businesses. 1 Star because I can't do 0.

This review is for the meatball sub and fries: About $17 for a 12 inch sub (expensive) and the fries range $2-$3- we got the 50/50. For a Friday afternoon it wasn't crowded, and we waited at least ten minutes! We thought it would be much quicker. The portion of fries was not bad for the price, and we really enjoyed them with the fry sauce. The meatball sub was huge and incredibly messy! I wouldn't even take it to go. Overall we weren't that impressed. The bread wasn't sturdy and got soggy, the meatball was okay but nothing special, there weren't that many onions and the sauce was plain. I've had better meatballs at Italian restaurants and expected this place to have something great. We also thought the famous jalapeno sauce wasn't spicy at all. But I think if you are craving these kinds of subs, you may as well try it. I wouldn't go out of my way nor recommend it otherwise. Oh btw, Guy Fieri visited this place twice, if that makes you more or less interested.
