Kicked out the only people of color 👍 Edit: Due to the owner's response, the truth is being twisted. As I was waiting, there was a deck of POKEMON CARDS lying around by the register. There was no 7 year old in sight at all during my short time there. There was no sign or anything indicating that these not for the public. I had thought these were tangible takeaway that the restaurant was providing, like how some offer stickers, prints, etc. I had no intention of stealing anything that was not mine, especially as paying customer. The alleged worker rudely approached me, and we were met with a simple misunderstanding. I had handed back the cards and apologized. I had nothing but positive and good intentions, did not realize that these POKEMON CARDS belonged to someone else, and was more than willing to give them back. This could have been resolved if i was given the proper opportunity to explain my perspective, but instead i was outcasted of the store. I will not support a business that see's me as a thief before...

Alright, buckle up, taco aficionados, because Tandoori Taqueria is about to blow your mind!

Let's talk about the pozole tacos, shall we? Imagine tender, fall-apart pork all tucked into a warm tortilla with a tangy slaw! It's like a flavor explosion in your mouth, and you'll be plotting your return before you even finish your plate.

And don't even get me started on the masala popcorn! Forget boring movie theater popcorn, this stuff is addictive.

The vibe? Think cozy meets cool. It's the kind of place where you can relax, laugh with friends, and just soak in the good vibes. And the service? Top-notch! They're friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about their food.

Oh, and the naan? Forget everything you thought you knew about naan. This stuff is pillowy, warm, and utterly divine. You'll want to order extra, trust me.

As a tourist, stumbling upon Tandoori Taqueria was like finding a hidden treasure. If you're anywhere near, do yourself a favor and GO! Your taste buds...

I was so impressed with the unique atmosphere when I walked in— somehow they've created a laid back and elegant lounge vibe as well as a casual restaurant that suits the incredibly well crafted food. I got the 3-taco combo with their three signature meats, I swapped in corn tortillas for two of them but HAD to try the naan taco, and I'm so glad I did! All the meat was so flavorful and paired brilliantly with the unique fixings. Each taco was full and double layered, so it was a filling meal and not as messy as some street tacos can be. The Tikka taco was my favorite. I don't know if they always do this, but they also went around to each table and offered us homemade popcorn while we waited for our food. I thought it was a sweet touch! I love this new local spot, it's location in the Maven district, and it's amazing food! This area needed a great new lunch spot like...

I am so excited that these folks are back! I’m also excited that they’re no longer in hard-to-find a back alley. I absolutely love the concept of quick, Indian-food tacos. Using naan as the shell is a no-brainer. The cabbage slaw is fresh and the fillings are hot and flavorful. We ordered the tikka tikka and chile relleno tacos. They came SUPER quick. (my only complaint about the old location the the amount of time it took. That has been fixed!). The vibe is cute, casual and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. And they bring you heaps of masala popcorn while you wait (if you’re confused by the concept, thenI guess you have to just check it out). At the moment they’re running a limited menu, but the old favorites should be back soon. Let’s help these folks thrive here in the Maven District.

The flavour of the "tacos" was very, very nice. We really enjoyed our time here. However there's absolutely no Mexican cuisine to be found here. I guess the taco concept would be the only thing. This part was sad for me as I was expecting a true blend of both cuisines (since you're naming your restaurant a Taqueria, some concepts and flavours of what a Taquera is must then be present, which is not the case here). I wouldn't recommend this place if you're curious of what a blend of Indian and Mexican cuisine is. Please note that I do recognize the flavors were fantastic, a very well done Indian cuisine, not so the Mexican side. We tried the Pozole taco and a Chorizo taco, none of them resembled not even to the very least what Pozole and Chorizo must be...
