DO NOT EAT HERE
Got spicy chicken teriyaki and regular chicken teriyaki. The chicken was COLD and rubbery texture, only some of it was warm, and some was room temp.
Which means it’s actually old chicken that’s being reheated with a microwave, which is why it’s got inconsistent temperature. That wouldn’t happen from fresh chicken and sitting out together.
ALSO, the rubbery texture is what you get when you reheat using a microwave so it was just a dead giveaway.
We came when it wasn’t busy. It took longer than most places do for just teriyaki. Which is crazy considering it’s microwaved.
I think they probably just microwave and wait around to act like they cooked something fresh. And they just don’t cook fresh single portions so they don’t realize it doesn’t take long lmao.
These guys are trying to scam you. I can see why the ratings are so horrendous. Any good review is mostly from a long time ago.
The craziest part is they are charging $16 for a chicken teriyaki. You can get a better one that’s actually cooked for you down at the Pine Lake Himitsu spot. $16 is insanely overpriced, even for the area.
Also the sauce tastes pretty gross. I think they put fructose syrup because the texture is really gooey and tastes like some type of syrup for some reason. It’s like candy, which is disgusting.
Just read the other horrible reviews for this place. I’m actually hoping this place gets shut down if they don’t stop...
Read moreMy friend and I were looking for teriyaki this morning. Google said this place opened at 10. So we drove across town while reading the reviews saying the food is great, but the service is terrible. Funny!!! Cause we get there and the door was wide open so we walk in and start looking at the menu. All of the sudden this horrible woman came freaking out from the back yelling at us that they were not READY yet and we need to get out. At this point it is 10:15 and they open at 10:00 BUT THEY AREN'T READY YET!!! She then proceeded to almost push myself, my friend who is 8 months pregnant and her 2 year old out of the restaurant ( even though we were very willingly leaving on our own because at this point we decided not to wait even though we normally would have no problem waiting). Before we were even all the way out the door she was closing it and locking it. It was very strange and made us very uncomfortable. I DO NOT recommend this place AT...
Read moreHad the chicken breast teriyaki, it was OK but lacked any char to give it crisp edges or that grilled taste. The salad that came on the side was flat out bad. It was brown and beginning to go bad like salad does when it's a week past it's due. I understand this is a teriyaki place and not a salad bar but serving rotten food is unacceptable and it makes me question everything else. If I had opened it before I had gotten home I would have take it back and ask for my money back. Both side salads were inedible. Won't...
