My wife planned a weekend trip to SeaWorld. I looked up a couple of breakfast places near our hotel. The first place we stopped was too quiet and small for my wife, myself, 8 yr old son, and two daughters 3 and 1.5 yrs old. We stumbled on this hidden gem right here!! First off, Juan Carlos was amazing, inviting us right in and to pick a table of our choice. We got situated with waters and menus. We asked Juan Carlos about the menu suggestions, and he immediately suggested chipotle chilaquiles. Chipotle is one of my favorite spices, so I was sold immediately on that item. My wife ordered the rojo chilaquiles at Juan Carlos' suggestion as well. His wife came over and made suggestions on the adult beverages/cocktails. I ordered the top shelf margarita, and my wife started off with a paloma and tajin rim. My top shelf margarita was dresses with black salt. It really made the drink stand out, and it was a great margarita through and through. The kids ordered a burger and pancake plate. The girls devoured the pancake, eggs, and bacon. My son enjoyed his burger too!! The chilaquiles were too die for!! Everything tasted really great!! The size of the plate for the price was something you don't usually see in a restaurant post covid. As a chef in Houston, I told Juan Carlos and his wife that I was really impressed with food, service and drinks. If your in the area definitely dont short yourself on this Gem of a restaurant. Husband and wife owners, extremely friendly and personable. If your going to support local businesses, definitely add them to your list. As a chef I will vouche and say you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back for the food, drinks, and amazing service.

12-7-2024 DATE NIGHT! 🥂 it's wife and me time. The temperature dropped into the 50⁰ and we were looking for a nice warm, cozy spot. Aztec Jungle looks hot 🔥 so we gave it a try. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Love (wife) had the Pina colada and I had the Blue Volcano. To eat, we had Flauts in a cup and Jungel cheesy papas. The Pina Colada was delicious 😋. It was mixed well. It didn't have an over bearing alcohol taste to it. It was easy to drink. The Blue Volcano was good as well. The rim of the cup had Blue sugar crystals. Overall, they both hit the center of the 🎯 bullseye. The Flauts in a cup were good. The cup had plenty of guacamole. You don't have to worry about your significant over eating ALL OF IT! The cheesy papas were fun. It had a good mix of cheese, jalapeños French fries and bacon. Perfect! The atmosphere was relaxed. While we were talking, they had music in the background. Not too loud, not too soft. It was just right. It's a good place to have adult beverages. Overall, it's a good spot to take a date or the family. Also, if you want to have a couple of drinks before you hit the club, spend some time here. I hope this helps.

We were in the mood for some good grub and decided to try Aztec Jungle out. The chips and salsa are delicious! I can appreciate the fresh chips and not the store bought ones. Couple that with some amazing fresh salsa?!! It’s a party, no doubt. Pictures provided are of the Street Tacos (Arrachera/Beef Fajitas) and the Chicken Enchiladas Suizas. Both plates were really good and tasty— full of flavor! The Street Tacos Arrachera has flavorful and juicy chunks of steak. I’m picky on having to pull the fatty parts out while eating, so I prefer a more finely chopped steak meat when it comes to street tacos. However, everything with the tacos was amazing. The Shredded chicken in the Chicken Enchiladas Suizas was perfectly shredded and juicy. The green sauce on the enchiladas is so good and meshed well over the entire plate. The service from Carlos was excellent! He was very kind, patient, and friendly. Great service all around! A nice location with attractive decor. There is a bar available for those who partake. Plenty of seating in this small yet charming Mexican restaurant. We’ll be back again soon!
