Today's visit was an epic fail. First i will say that my wife and i have been here before and have had positive experiences. We came tonight at about 8pm for dinner. They were not busy at all but the lobby area was pretty dirty and many tables were not wiped down this should of been our sign leave but for some reason tonight we carried on.
We each got the pick 2 and used the kiosk which was pretty easy to use. So far so good. We got our drinks and the drink station was a mess and very sticky. My food came out before we even say down so the kitchen was fast but the problem with that is we had to walk the entire place and tried 3 tables before we found one that wasn't sticky. We settled on a less sticky table and the server said let me wipe that down for you but in the 15 steps to the cleaning station she forgot about us and went to clean up another table so we moved again.
About 5 min later my wife food came out and honestly it was a joke. The sandwhichs were soooo small for $5.79. (See pics) I got the chipotle chicken and my wife got the steak cheddar. Both sandwhichs were smaller than a dollar bill and had hardly any meat. My salad was missing the bacon and my wife's was missing the egg (I will say the green goddess dressing was very good)
I got up to get the egg and the server that forgot about us earlier saw me and asked what was wrong. I explained that my wife was missing the egg from her salad and she said "oh.. so you want that?" I am like "yes" thinking to myself like why would I get up and ask if i didnt want it :-)
So she walked me over the counter asked for an egg and then walked off. It would of been nice if she would of offered will bring it to the table for me so I could eat with my wife but whatever.
So I get the egg and bring it to the table and I can tell my wife is very disappointed with the whole experience so far. She got up to talk to the manager. She brought the tiny sandwhichs thinking maybe the cook was new and just made them smaller than they were supposed to be. The manager made excuses and ultimately said that they were correct and they were rolling out new products and the bread was bigger so it just looked like there was less meet. First of all we have had them before and they were bigger and there is NO way they could not been smaller.
While my wife was talking to the manager she saw behind the counter and it was super filthy. I can understand the mess if they were super busy but litterly in the 20 min we were there they had maybe 5 orders come in and there were a total of about 10 customers in the lobby.
We ended up getting a refund but lost our coupon for visiting 3 times in a month. Like I said earlier we normally have an ok experience but they really need to get their act together and offer better...
Read moreIf I could rate this location ZERO STARS I WOULD! I’m currently sick with Covid and my husband went to grab me French Onion Soup. He ordered the soup with No Cheese because I can’t eat it. The order was repeated back “no cheese”, he confirmed and proceeded to the pickup window. The guy at the pickup window confirmed “no cheese” upon payment and the receipt also says “no cheese”. My husband drives home, I begin to eat the soup and as I scooped to the bottom I got a spoon full of CHEESE! Going through the soup I realized they loaded the bottom of the bowl with Cheese. My husband patiently calls the supervisor JOSHUA and explains that there is cheese in the soup. JOSHUA very rudely says “bring it back for another one!”, my husband lets him know he will but it may take a minute since he’d gotten all the way home…JOSHUA HANGS UP IN HOS FACE. At that point I was completely confused by how rudely and unprofessional JOSHUA behaved. I then called back to let him know I’d like a refund instead. He chuckled and said “wow okay you’re dramatic”..I was so taken back. I began to explain to him that I’m not trying to be dramatic or confrontational, but I can’t have cheese..IM ALLERGIC. JOSHUA then smacks his lips and hangs up on me. I called back and immediately asked for his superiors phone number because hanging up on a customer after getting their order wrong is mean and rude. JOSHUA states he didn’t have a district manager and that I can “ask google and complain to corporate because I don’t care to hear a lecture about cheese in soup!” JOSHUA then stated, “IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY COME GET IT!” & hung up. I have these conversations recorded as well.
I am so beyond appalled! I have never received such rude, hateful behavior from Panera Bread. I’m literally in tears typing this review because I’m an older woman and after the week I’ve had on top of being sick, JOSHUA yelling at me and being so mean because I spoke up about my order just broke me. My throat is sore so there’s no way I was yelling or coming off aggressive, I just wanted to explain why the cheese is an issue. JOSHUA has absolutely no empathy whatsoever and from the entire experience I can’t help but wonder if he was racial fueled to behave in such a disturbing and disgusting manner. JOSHUA showed no compassion as if he owns the location and wouldn’t receive any repercussions. SMH it’s unfortunate and I will never visit this location again. I will post photos later if I decide not to...
Read moreNew visit: Pounding music when I couldn’t hear myself. Not proofed pastries and bread. And overall their pastries looked very unappetizing and not fresh. Slow and unfriendly service. Brought my granny to eat here and she was treated very unpleasantly by the kitchen staff. But when it came to correct their errors, they gave me a mean look and argued that the half missing ingredients that’s how it should be done. When I showed them their own app with the menu item, they’ve just thrown my missing ingredients in my plate. 🤦♀️
New review: Jordan was in charge of this Panera in the morning and he did an awful job by messing up the orders and acting offensive and unpleasant. 3 of 3 items all had problems: either missing ingredients or having extras. Paid for avocado sandwich, didn’t get any. My party ate and I was waiting for 15 more minutes for my sandwich to be re-done. Jordan was using profanity with his younger team members and mostly was yelling instead of managing in a professional manner.
Original review:
All Panera locations are having different issues (some of them so bad that I don’t simply go) but this particular location is the worst in food quality and preparation: the order is never ready for the scheduled time, the quality or look of the baked goods could be from sad to horrible looking, bagels often looking flat and not appetizing (I’m pretty much confirming other bad reviews). But this week they went above and beyond to get the prize for the “worst Panera ever”: I’ve ordered a box of bagels and cream cheese for pick-up, and a small bag of pastries, went to the rapid pick-up shelf, took my order and went to work. I do trust the receipt and the person at the cafe who said that they’ve checked items and cream cheese are inside the box with the bagels, and I shouldn’t - two cream cheese tubs were not in a box. What’s the point to bring bagels to treat your colleagues and not having cream cheese to complement them? Just chew the bread? So I called, spoke with 3 different people, impossible to proof that it was missing (of course!), so I just gave up of trying to fix their incompetence. Went back and paid for two tubs of cream cheese and one of them was a horrible quality - it was previously frozen (not refrigerated as required for the food quality) - when I opened it, there were ice crystals and it was all curd and smelled disgusting. What a waste of time, money and energy. And personnel is very...
