We love Bombay Bicycle Club and usually recommend the Saint Mary's location. However, our recent visit to the Hemisfair location was disappointing, especially since we brought friends to try it out after raving about it.
My husband's toasted sandwich lacked the advertised bacon and the deli meat appeared low quality. Considering the $15 price tag, it was a disappointing dish, described by him as one of the worst he's ever had.
The service was also inconsistent. Our waiter made a strange comment about our experience, seeming to anticipate negativity. When we requested extra dipping sauce for the chicken, the server appeared visibly annoyed. Additionally, another waiter announced a kitchen closure in 5 minutes at 8:32 pm, while our original server stated a closing time of 12 am and a kitchen closing of 9 or 10 pm. This confusion further highlighted a sense of disorganization, especially considering they'd only been open for 6 months according to our server.
Despite the negative aspects, there were some positives. My chicken tender platter, with its scratch-made dressings and sauces, was good as usual. Similarly, the drinks were delicious. However, my sister's dish also had missing items, and with the kitchen closing immediately after receiving our food, there was no opportunity to order dessert.
While I appreciate the positive aspects of Bombay Bicycle Club overall, this experience was a letdown, especially considering the $70 bill for three people. I'm willing to give the Hemisfair location another chance in the daytime, hoping they can improve their service and consistency. However, for now, I'll stick to the St....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreZERO STARS This is the first time I have ever written a review, but the service we just received at Bombay Hemisfair was hands down the absolute worst service after the sale I have ever experienced. We arrived at 9:00 for a celebratory dinner. Everything was great until after serving our ālast callā drink order, our waitress, KYLIE told us they had to lock the doors in 5 minutes. That is all well and good but before taking that last order would have been the time to inform us of that. Even that was ok until the attitude kicked in. CELESTE (shift manager maybe?) came to our table to abruptly tell us they were locking the doors now and we had to leave. She proceeded to tell us closing time is 10:00 and everyone had to be out. The words were bad enough, but the tone and disrespect and rudeness was way over the top. KYLIE then came behind her and rudely told us she was picking up the glasses. All of this was happening at 10:10. I have worked as a waitress, I know how it works. You donāt rudely tell customers to leave. Customer service is the only issue here. We told Celeste we were going to finish the drinks we had just ordered and she said fine, stood there, and glared. We might have been more efficient if Kylie hadnāt taken 10 minutes to initially take our food order. The main takeaway here is customer service and respect. If we had been rowdy and loud and drunk, maybe. But we were celebrating my son matching for his medical residency and we were very subdued. I wish I could do more than just write this, but I guess this is my first stepā¦. (this is a real shame because the...

Let me first start off by saying that this is a BURGER HEAVEN review. I had the jalapeƱo burger and it was HEAVENLY MADE!!!!!! Let's start off with the patty of the burger. Its moist richness and thick patty just oozed juices of Texas Meat. The cheese ran down the side of the burger like a yellow cascade, perfectly embodying how cheese should protrude.
The jalapeƱos were a fiery dance of flavors, adding just the right amount of kick without overpowering the other elements. The bun, oh the bun! It was toasted to a golden-brown hue, soft yet sturdy enough to hold the masterpiece together. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, making it not just a meal but an experience to be savored.
To top it all off, the service was as impressive as the burger itself. The staff kILEY AND DOUG!!!!! Ok I am from Michigan and Dougie is from OHIO and we have a rivalry that goes beyond comprehension but this is what makes it so much more fun and a reason why I will come here all the time. Everyone friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience matched the high quality of their burgers. If you're a burger aficionado, this place is a must-visit. It's not just a meal; it's a culinary journey that will leave you...
