Just today I decided to go to Crumbl Cookies because my kids had been wanting to go here ever since we got to San Antonio. The cookies looked amazing and we were all excited to taste the cookies. When we got there everything was glum and didn’t look as cheerful and fun as on social media. All the employees looked miserable and just tired. They weren’t friendly or helpful. We didn’t even knew we had to order on a tablet and no one there said something. The employee that gave us our cookies had a really bad attitude, she was rude and looked like she just didn’t wanna be there. I’ll admit the cookies were good but they weren’t worth the wait. We waited more than 20 minutes for a box of cookies and they didn’t even have everything they said they had on the tablet. On the screen there was only vanilla ice cream, all the other flavors were gone. When we got our cookies we left and forgot they didn’t give us our ice cream. We got back to get our ice cream and realized(no one told us) that we had to take the ice cream from the fridge by ourselves. When I opened the fridge to my surprise they didn’t have any vanilla ice cream, they have only a few lemon ice cream. I asked an employee for the vanilla ice cream and she said that even though the screen said they had vanilla they only had the flavors that were on the fridge. In other words, the screen says one thing and they have a different one, same thing happened with the cookies. The system wasn’t updated. The lemon ice cream was really bad and without any flavor. As for the service it was terrible. Many reviews say the exact thing as we experienced so this isn’t exactly news to Crumbl Cookies in San Antonio. This visit was disappointing and a waste of money. I personally would not like to visit the Crumbl Cookies in San Antonio again. I wish them the best of luck but I feel bad for all the customers that did not get the experience and cookies...
Read moreDisappointing experience tonight. We came in and ordered one of the brownie batter cookies, on a night when they seemed pretty busy and we knew we’d have to wait a bit. Soon they started telling customers before us that the brownie cookies were going to be a while, maybe 8 min, and they could wait or swap cookies. No one asked me if I wanted to swap and I figured maybe they thought the cookies would be ready by the time they got to my order? But I was happy to wait a bit. After about 20 more minutes of waiting they started telling people they were out of cookies and were asking people to choose another or that they’d have to wait an additional 30 min. Still at this point no one had asked me if I wanted to swap or keep waiting, maybe there was enough for my order ready sooner and these people had ordered after me? After another 15 minutes I flagged down a staff member and asked to swap my brownie cookie. I was disappointed it took so long for the cookie I wanted. If it wasn’t available it should have been easy to remove that option from being ordered on the app until more cookies were ready we also ordered in store and they could have told us that before or while we ordered. And secondly I was disappointed that no one tried to ask me if I was willing to wait more or if I’d rather get a different cookie faster I had to flag someone down when I finally got tired of waiting. The customers ahead of me were also given free cookie coupons for waiting, and when I finally did get my cookies I was not offered one. I know that’s petty but after watching 6 other people get one I thought that would have been at least the silver lining for having waited so long. But I didn’t make a fuss and just left. I used to really enjoy crumbl but the service is never great and I’m usually...
Read moreWho makes a cookie that is so dense, flavorful and large that just one is enough for four people to enjoy? Crumble! That's who. 😊
I saw this new cookie joint pop up on social media a few weeks ago and knew I had to try. They didn't disappoint. The bright pink and simple black decor and the smell of cookies with a friendly greeting upon our visit was a great start. The display of the cookies having for the week was a great visusal and looked as good as the pictures on their IG made them appear.
Husband and I did the rational thing and GOT ONE OF ALL SIX OF THE WEEK! 🤣
Do NOT let the price point make you turn away. You get your worth.
Oh man, two people sharing six cookies in random bites still took two days to consume them. The butter and sugar limit for the week; well worth it.
The Raspberry Cheesecake was rich and the jelly melted in our mouth. The Smores? Oh, that toasted marshmallow center with a bite that got juuust the right mount of Graham cracker cookie and thick (I mean thhhhiiiccc) chocolate pieces was heaven. Then the two staples in their assortment of chocolate chip (which again, a chip? Nah try CHUNK) and the frosted sugar cookie were fantastic. Sugar cookie got a little drier on day two so eat that first or dont be gluttonous like us and realize two cookies can really give a family of four a nice size to feel satisfied.
We cannot forget the brownie style chocolate cookie with a decadent peanut butter fudge style coating (saw the male worker slathering it on myself) is the kind need a nice glass of milk with (for non dairy don't do coconut try almond or rice because this is sweet enough) qnd definitely was the richest. We still have some left.
We will keep an eye out on social media and be back....
