This place is unsanitary. I took my chicken gyro back to the counter because they did not cook my pita bread at all it was cold and crumbly. It also did not have much inside the sandwich at all maybe 3 pieces of chicken. When I took it back you would think that they could not take it back to the kitchen since I bit out of it but they not only took it back they placed it with everyone else's food that just got prepared on the same counter and reheated my pita on the grill and put my chicken and toppings back in to the pita. Didnt bother me any because It was my food that i was going to eat but it is unsanitary for everyone else eating here. This restaurants quality on food and customer service has really gone down. Mind you I've been a customer for about 15 years now. Also when I told them about my experience they were very rude and unhelpful.
Not sure why I cant respond to your comment demos but I will respond here. It's so strange that if my meal was freshly made why did it still have feta and cayenne pepper that I put in it??? I've been there enough to know that yall dont put cayenne in anyone of your gyros. It was still there in the new gyro. Either way it is what it is I watched yall take it back in to the kitchen and put it on the counter. If this is how you operate your business that is on you. Your business has been going down hill for a while and your customer service is not great. I dont think I will be returning unfortunately. Thank you for...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with the attitude I received today from one of the staff members of this restaurant. I stopped by because I wanted to make a reservation for my daughter's baptism, for about 30 people and wanted to speak with someone about it. I was told that the manager is very busy right now and I just need to come back. She offered to do the reservation, however I said it is rather large reservation and I would prefer to make it with a manager to guarantee that seating will be available. Then I also said that I am not able to come back, and asked if they can give me a call back. At that point obviously frustrated, she said fine just write your phone number here, and handed me a piece of paper. I can not believe the attitude that I was given when I wanted to do a pretty big reservation that would of equated to most likely over a $1,000.00 bill.
To your response below, I do understand that customers come with priority, I am in the hospitality business myself! All I am saying is that your stuff needs to be a little more polite when speaking with everyone that walks through the doors. I think that a response of "you just need to come back" is not very appropriate for this type of business. And I had to ask 3 times to give me phone number, because I was not able to come back. Thank you...

I have been eating there for about 20-25 years or so. The location is convenient & the food is fresh & made to order! Their Mousakka & Pita bread is HEAVENLY!
Their staff are friendly, hardly any wait time for food to be picked up at the counter, & the ambiance is authentic with murals set in Greece. Cozy, intimate atmosphere! They also have newspaper clippings in frames on the wall about their accomplishments.
The Mousakka is made similar to Lasagna Italiano in that it is layered. It is a heavenly, hearty creation made with eggplant, tender ground beef (I never eat beef, mind you; this is how good the beef is), & a white, light egg white looking sauce. Yum! ♡
Their Pita bread is so fresh & so soft and tasty. A second "Yum!" ♡
Their salads with Feta cheese & olives are also great! ♡
BEST FRENCH FRIES IN SAN ANTONIO!
Their lamb/beef Gyros are also excellent!
The only thing missing are Greek dancers to...
