I love what the church does for the low income and homeless with their food bank. I needed help a few times as a single mom with three boys. Now that I do home health. I definitely let my patients on gov. Assistance know about this pantry. Some people get the bare minimum of $25 for food stamps. Often not leaving them much for food. Due to the rise in costs of living. Even with the small hike from the gov. They often still struggle. So I teach them to use the $25 of stamps on things like chicken, eggs, milk, cheese etc. but help them find food banks for canned goods, rice, fruit, veggies and beans and whatever else food banks have to offer. I do tell them they have to qualify for most food banks and most patients do. Some just have to have a need for food. They do great work here. 💯 I only sent three patients in 5 years. They're very GREATFUL for the help when they needed it. I love the Godly spirit of this church. I once walked into the church looking for the food bank and was welcomed openly and directed me across the street where the pantry is. I was overwhelmed with everything in my life and if you ask for prayer at the food bank. They definitely do that as well. ❤️ God bless this place's...
