I would leave 0āļø if I could. My roommate and I have been living in this complex for almost a year now. I am constantly being told I have too much plugged in. Even after I moved things to differentĀ outlets and turned off power strips. The washer and dryer should not be on the same circuit with the living room.Ā  I should be able to run the dryer AND use my Playstation. I should not have to sit around with no electronics turned on just to do laundry. I should be able to plug the vacuum cleaner in the living room with the ceiling lights turned on. I should be able to turn on my PC during the day without the breaker beingĀ shut off. I should NOT have to unplug items that are turned off (i.e., the TV) and turn off the ceiling fan to turn on my plant light. This morning, nothing was turned on. Not even the ceiling light or the ceiling fan when my roommate booted up the PC. He tried 6 times in a row, and the breaker flipped each time. This is not ok. We have moved the PC. I have stopped using my steam cleaner and my vacuum. I can not do laundry and have anything else turned on. Still, the breakers flip. It's random, and there is no rhyme or reason behind it. We spoke constantly with the previous manager about our issues. The new manager has not even acknowledged our complaints. Moreover, there is mold in the bathroom where water leaks onto the drywall and baseboard. When I attempted to clean the drywall, it just deteriorated. The flooring where the water leaks is warped. The walls on both sides of the shower are like this, but much worse now. Do not recommend it. Especially for the cost.

Tintop offers an unparalleled living experience that seamlessly blends comfort, style, and convenience. From the moment I stepped into their impeccably designed lobby, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Ces, whose charisma and professionalism instantly set the tone for my exceptional visit. She exuded a genuine passion for the property, eagerly showcasing the myriad of amenities and features that make this place truly special. The property manager Jennifer, offers an unparalleled knowledge of the complex to a degree that was truly astounding. Ces effortlessly guided me through the various floor plans, patiently answering all my questions and ensuring I found the perfect fit for my lifestyle. The apartment itself was a masterpiece of modern design, showcasing sleek finishes, high-end appliances, and expansive windows that offered amazing views of the surrounding city. Every detail was meticulously curated to create an atmosphere of luxury and comfort. Throughout my leasing process, Ces and Jennifer remained a beacon of hospitality and professionalism. They not only facilitated a seamless move-in experience but also continued to be a reliable point of contact for any questions or concerns that arose. Their dedication to ensuring tenant satisfaction truly sets TinTop apart from the rest!

I recently moved out of this complex and there’s many things that happened, but I also understand not every complex is perfect. What started out as a 5-star apartment went downhill slowly throughout my lease. From constant car break-ins, broken gates, malfunctioning elevators, theft of complex furniture, and incompetent leasing folks — it was a mess. A lot of residents were upset about it and no changes were really done… but hey, we got a fob installed on a elevator to protect the complex — which I don’t know if it did anything. Besides that, the maintenance guys were helpful (shoutout my boy Mark) but it had a superficial vibe to the complex. It didn’t feel like a home really — more like just give me your money and whatever. And I’m not asking or saying I was searching for a place to greet me everyday but it just felt off a bit. Also, to finish off, please don’t promote the speakeasy and then not inform people you have to pay a hefty fee to use it. Like its apart of the amenities… and you’re already paying a lot… which is understandable because it’s luxury… To sum up — the complex is described in the photo below or attached.

UPDATED REVIEW: brought down to 1 star from 5. Unfortunately Big Foot has moved in upstairs and I can hear stomping. Every hour. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

If you are a light sleeper or enjoy any moments of peace and quiet - this is not the apartment complex for you.

I can hear the vacuum at 2am, walking, the shower, jumping around, running a marathon, and whatever else all loud upstairs neighbors do regardless of the hour. If you’re thinking ā€œOkay I’ll just wear earplugs at night no biggieā€ THINK AGAIN. My noise machine, humidifier, fan, and earplugs have not blessed me with more than 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep since it’s not just noise- any movement causes the entire room to reverberate. You can feel the chaos erupting upstairs from the comfort of your own bed or sofa! I’ve quite literally been paying an insane amount of rent to be absolutely miserable and tortured every time I walk into my apartment.

Unfortunately this is not a one off case, all the residents I’ve spoken to at events complain about the noise from either the highway or their upstairs neighbors. BUT If you’ve made it this far and you’re STILL debating touring here and thinking ā€œoh I’m sure it’s not that badā€ make sure you go after 5pm so you can really feel what it will be like.

T-2 months until I’m free from this prison sentence. Save yourself the years taken off my life from lack of sleep and choose a different place to live.

To start off, I chose tin top because of the amazing reviews left by other residents. I’m happy to say, they did not disappoint. Tin Top is by far the best place to live in San Antonio!

The office staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. There are fun community activities almost every other week. The biggest part for me is how incredible the maintenance staff is. They are so quick to respond to an issue, clean up, and are just friendly guys.

Best apartment complex I’ve ever lived in, it’s honestly better than a hotel! The amenities are great, the gym is 24/7, ample work space/hosting spots. Only downside is pool doesn’t open until 10, I hope they eventually move the hours to...

Updated May 9th, 2025: I’ve lived here for over a year now and renewed my lease. I’m located in a 2 bedroom. Place remains quiet, clean, bug-free, and everyone keeps to themselves. They were extremely fare on the very minimal rent increase. All I wrote below still remains accurate. I love living here and can’t even think about moving. I will say lock your car because my car did get broken into because I left it unlocked. I’m from Houston and used to people breaking windows when they break in a car so this was honestly not a big deal for me. Just lock your car. Car break-ins happen everywhere so I don’t blame the apartment for that. If you’re looking for an apartment with professional tenants, this is the place for you. —————————— I’ve lived here for about 7 months now. I really love this complex and the best one I’ve ever stayed at. Things that I look for and you will get here is: 1.) safety- key fob access to enter building and to go up and down the elevators 2.) Cleanliness- large clean gym, stairwells and halls kept really clean, no cups/cans around pool 3.) Top notch maintenance- very quick and attentive maintenance who actually fixes things in a timely manner 4.) Quiet complex ( I am facing Ashby place) 5.) I haven’t had any issues with any dogs and I’ve been in the elevator with many and all are on leashes. There’s also stairwells at every elevator so you can avoid other dogs if you have one. 6.) Awesome finishes in apartment. The appliances are name brand and it’s nice there is no carpet. I rarely hear my neighbors above me in a 2 bedroom. 7.) the people living here keep to themselves and are also very friendly. 8.) plenty of parking spaces in the garage and guests park on the street. Sometimes that can get a little tricky for guests but it’s better than living here and not getting a spot in the garage.

I HIGHLY recommend...
