Haven't been here for a while because of past dismal drive thru experiences. Tried Saturday drive thru & ordered only a single steak burger with cheese, pickles, mustard that their ticketee just couldn't seem to understand a single burger was all & she kept asking for upcharging items, lettuce, tomato, combo, drink, custard, ect.... where I kept saying nothing else, no, no, ect. , got to the window & the guy mentioned my order as a combo :( & I said that's not what I ordered, only a single burger, & began making same excuses as in past that there ordering window is difficult hearing orders, then he eventually took time to correct & while waiting I was ready to pay... then I heard him while watching asking his cooks why their was two burgers, then he took my credit card payment for a single burger aprox $4.50. While waiting some more, I asked if it was ready & he said yes... then he came back & said it had onions on it & they would recook while watching more confusion in their staff... I got his attention & said I've given up & wanted my money back... which took more time where the mgr eventually processed where I mentioned of the long difficult process Freddy's always seem to have at this location. Eventually while ordering, waiting in drive the line then watching staff confusion then reorders, then money back disappointment, I eventually left after 37 minutes waiting in drive through without getting a single simple burger. Manager couldn't care less of customers experience (never apologized) while their staff who takes orders only concentrates on trying to up sale every detail of a simple order & then eventually makes it a wrong "combo" after a customer had repeatedly said a single burger. Wow.. this location never changes with youngsters behind the scenes always making mistakes & delaying patrons experience by getting orders wrong trying up sales where I'm assuming they're thinking customers just go ahead & pay instead of wanting inconvenience. Read moreI truly WANT, and I mean I really really want to give this place 5 stars because when the food and the FRIES (I’ll explain in a moment) are done properly, it is simply one of the best burgers in town. I truly mean it.
BUT..... for some unknown reason, and I cannot tell you what the reason is, this place manages to not properly prepare the fries, and SEASON the fries just about 5/8ths of the time we come here. The fries are one of the reasons we love to come here, when done properly it is one of my absolute favorite places to get fries. But, as I mentioned... more often than not, they are not seasoned at all!!! How hard is it to properly season fries??!? They cook the fries to the proper level, but there is ZERO flavor because they manage to forget to season and mix the fries upon finishing cooking them. How can this possibly happen? It is so unbelievably frustrating because when I come here I expect a certain amount of taste and quality, and too often it doesn’t happen! Read moreI think it's unfortunate that the culture of customer service for a lot of businesses has become one of entitlement on the restaurant side as well as the patronizing of customers. We called to let the restaurant know that our food was ice cold. Not frozen, but it seems like it was sitting out for awhile. When I called to let them know and give them a chance to fix it, we got blamed for calling to request well done tots beforehand, when really the true issue is that the order was completed way earlier than the app said to pickup. The conversation with not one, but both managers was unproductive. The first seemed lost on what to do and the second kept over explaining what was obvious without providing a solution. It is not our fault that your business can't seem to properly communicate pickup time to the app. That's not our problem. I had to finally end the call because I'm an adult and the way that we were spoken to I found completely disrespectful. Not only are you guys overpriced, you are rude too.
