By far the worst ramen place I’ve ever been to. If I could leave no stars, I would. Food was not only over cooked but also old. It was very dirty in the establishment. Tried to explain that to one of the employees, he did not want to listen. Instead he would rather argue and gaslight me. He refused to allow me to talk with the manager. Who happened to be there right next to him listening, but he kept telling her to be quiet and to “let him handle it”. Mind you, I asked him beforehand if he was the manager and he said no. He pointed at the woman and said “she’s the manager”. But would not allow her to say anything and she had a much more professional approach than he did. He called the owner of the store in front of me and only told her what he thought she should hear, not the truth. I asked him several times respectfully if he could give me the number to his boss(the owner) and he refused. His response was “you can leave an email”. So I left and decided to call the one in the stone oak area, for the the owners number. A woman picks up and I tried explaining to her briefly about what happened and why I needed the owner’s number. She immediately shuts me down and starts telling me how wrong I am for complaining to one of her employees and that I had no right. She wouldn’t allow me to say nothing. She also told me that she’s the owner and she owns every Ginza restaurant in San Antonio. So she didn’t care at all because to her she’s the law and feeding ppl old food in a dirty establishment, is no concern of hers. She was more worried about me complaining to her employee rather than the food they served in their dirty...

I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to take 2 of my friends out on my Friday night evening and introduce them as well we went and we all ordered our orders were each about $35 or more and I for the 1st time had a sushirrito However the proteins that were in my di his approaches I had chil I had one of the 4 pieces and then I approached the front counter to let them know that that was not when I ordered I was pulled to the side while they dug through the trash from my order slip to see if I was correct or incorrect and after that The employee took my fruit to the kitchen and then proceeded to come back out with my food and say I made this I made a correctly this is chicken in cider there and I said it doesn't taste like chicken its taste like fish and I don't eat fish like that and so he said oh I don't know how to see if the let me make you another one and it's I OK well I'm just give me my money back because you already handled my food took it to the back I don't want it at this point and so they remade it but they don't put any of the sauces in it so was completely dry and I just don't feel like that was the experience I got called out in front of customers people are looking at me getting lectured about what I ordered I'm not familiar with this restaurant but what I do know as when you order chicken in it taste like fish and you can identify it then there's a problem I just don't feel like the customer should the had to be embarrassed and had to explain myself over and over again to get...

Came here with the wifey today on a whim! We were in the mood for ramen but wasn't sure where to go, we have driven past this place many times but finally gave it a shot and I must say we were both impressed!

The Vibe: This place was pretty laod back, went on a Thursday at around lunch time and it was not busy at all, from ordering to getting our meals it took only about 10 minutes! They have indoor and outdoor seating, very clean and overall very friendly and fast service!

The Food: So the wifey got a Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, I got a Crispy Chicken Ramen Miso Soup and a side of Gyoza.

I'll start with the Ramen, I have to say this was seriously 5/5!! I think I'll be dreaming about the soup, that's how good it was! The crispy chicken was a perfect crunch (Mainly skin, not much meat, which is EXACTLY what I was hoping for), As for the soup it had 1/2 a hard boiled egg, 1 Naruto, some chives and mushroom and FULL of flavor! The noodles were perfectly cooked with a nice bounce and texture to them!

The Gyoza was what you would expect, crispy on the outside with a flavorful sauce on the side

The Teriyaki chicken was well grilled with a great amount of tasty sauce on it, the rice was well cooked and also very tasty! The bowl was so huge though, the wifey couldn't finish it!

All in we paid around $25 for the meal you see which was not bad at all for how AMAZING the food was!

Overall we had a wonderful experience and will be returning the next time a...

Ok so after being to some other ramen spots around San Antonio, My expectations were pretty high especially after going to places like Ito ramen; this place definitely gave those places a run for their money and actual might top them all in my opinion. Ginza ramen beat everyone else in the takoyaki and the ramen was just as good as the rest. Very hearty full of flavor on the broth. The pork was to die for as well and a big contender. But what really puts this place on the top in my opinion is them NOT CHARGING EXTRA FOR HOT OIL OR OTHER SPICE/SAUCES! This also with fountain drinks with unlimited refills makes it my favorite spot to date. It might not matter to a lot of people but things like this should not be overlooked as a selling point for a great ramen spot. The only small thing you might miss from other ramen spots would be the ambience, Ginza seems to be missing that cozy hole-in-the-wall type atmosphere found in other spots that make it have a welcoming vibe. Ginza still has a great location and vibe that is a bit more mainstream and modern which sadly is not something you expect often from ramen shops. This is a small gripe and should in no way dissuade anyone from enjoying this place, I highly recommend it!

Be prepared to split your dish! At first glance this place is really expensive with Poke bowls at $10 and sushirittos at $12. But that price tag doesn't seem so bad once you see how much food you get. My group of 4 could have easily split two sushirittos and been perfectly happy for half the bill. Atmosphere is nice. We arrived about 5:30p on a Sunday and ate outside. Their were only about 3 other customers while we were there. Place was very clean. On the downside, the ordering process is awkward. You fill out a form where you choose between poke bowls or sushirittos. Then tick off your protein, base and your add-ins. You then take the form to the cashier who asks which sauce you want. Why not just include sauce as a section of the form? Also, when they brought the food it was very confusing which dish belonged to which person. "Who had the shrinp tempura?" Why not just put a line for your name on the form? Then the person delivering your food can just say, "Tom?", "Mary?" It would make things way simpler and everyone gets the right dish on the first try. Simple tweaks to take this experience from 4-stars to 5.
