If you’re seeing this and thinking about going. Go!!! Run! Literally. This is the best service my family has experience. We went on a Saturday around 2pm. It was not packed at all. There’s a sign that says wait to be seated, I sat down and before my husband sat down all the way down there was a lady seating us down. Drinks were the 1st thing she offered. After drinks we quickly put our food order in. Right away she served us with soup. My drink was half way full when she had taken my cup and had gave me a refill. Our drinks didn’t go lower than half way before she was giving us a refill. To add Right away when we walked in she quickly asked if a high chair was needed for our 1 year old. She not only brought within 10 seconds (literal time) she also moved and removed chair for us to be more comfortable in the table. We weren’t even done with our soup when the food was out! We ordered lemon chicken plate (2 plates) The fried rice was perfect! The chicken was thin and cooked all the way, and the breading wasn’t thick and nasty, it was actually crispy flaky. Our favorite part the egg rolls, I thought egg rolls were a little brown than usual but to us that was the perfect color, literally the best egg rolls I’ve ever had. Through our the entire time our waitress was checking on us consistently. There was a baby in the table next to us that was coughing, she was choking and they quickly checked on the mom and made sure they were okay, Both of the ladies! Another thing that made us love this place was how clean it was and it was because of these amazing ladies. As soon as the table with the baby left and all the other tables were taken care of they quickly clean up the area. It almost felt as if you’re around family rather than a restaurant. Our daughter accidentally spilled rice, as soon as my husband tried picking it up she told him not to worry about it, but it was in the nicest way. The customer service was amazing, our waiter I believe had a pink shirt, not really sure of her name. The place was such a chill vibe. Our food came out to about $25 (lunch special) with 2 sodas. Also after we had paid she offered us another refill. We will definitely be coming back. This is literally a million dollar customer service right here with...
Read moreWe are regulars almost every other Friday at House of China and today I decided to order the special chicken and broccoli. To my surprise my plate was cold so our waiter took it back. I didn’t think anything of it but when it came back again it still had some cold areas around it and it was not freshly cooked at all. The carrots were Orange black not bright orange, the baby corn had a grayish yellow tint to them and the chicken was chewy. I was kind of upset as you can imagine I even told the cashier when checking out that I did not enjoy my meal tonight. She turned around and blamed it on our poor waiter saying that he doesn’t really understand English to well and has bad hearing and we should have told him to have the cooks remake a fresh plate and not to reheat it and if we did he probably didn’t understand us. This is where I got really upset.. how are you going to say it’s the waiters fault and our fault for not communicating with the cooks!!? Instead of apologizing to us for the bad experience or trying to remedy the situation??? I explained to her that the cooks are the ones that should no better and they should have been serving fresh food not food that looks like it’s been sitting out for an hr and then serving it to customers!! I did not eat my meal I was so disgusted and the cashier didn’t even bother to ask if we wanted to have my meal comped after knowing we are regular paying customers. I don’t know if they have new chefs, kitchen staff or what the situation is but the kitchen was very loud and sounded like no one back there was focusing on the cooking they were singing, laughing and yelling at each other. I even saw one of the customers look back there and shrug her head. I was very very disappointed in tonight’s service with the cooks and our cashier the only thing we did enjoy tonight was our very humble waiter who greets us with a smile every time we come in. I know everyone makes mistakes but we will not be...

A lady named Shaezung( maybe misspelled) has horrible customer skills. She works as the cashier. I came in to pick up a order, I asked if it was ready yet, she said “ not ready, sit” now, I understand English is her second language so I didn’t make a big deal out of her professionalism. The order had multiple drinks, I ask for a drink carrier. She said “we don’t carry them , not our responsibility “ I said ma’am how are we suppose to carry multiple drinks. She replied “ you should have your own bag”. I was slightly frustrated, I confirmed the order and took the food to my car then came back to get the drinks, after attempting to put them in a bag, they had leaked all over, I kindly asked for them to clean and secure the drinks before I took them. She got really mad and gleaked at me which saliva came out her mouth towards me. I’m not 100% sure she intended to spit at me but it happened ! She yelled and said I will cancel this order , I told her I had already confirmed it. I took the drinks as they were and proceeded on.
In full transparency , I am Japanese. So maybe this was a bigger/ deeper issue . Like racism ? No way to know or to prove .
Yes, I could of handled the situation better myself. But that doesn’t excuse actions. I will be demanding to speak with the owner because I will not tolerate this kind of action. I am retired navy of 23 years service. Please be aware of her . I will go to the store and sit outside warning customers if I have too.
This happened on Saturday...
