To start off, I would like to say the service from Frankie was amazing. I had multiple modifications he didn’t skip a beat/miss one. I thought the bartenders were kind, friendly and engaging. The fire cracker chicken wraps were really good. I got loaded mashed potatoes, very delicious, ribs were just OK. My husband outlaw ribeye was over seasoned (not in a good way), basically just way too salty. I think they drop the salt shaker on the steak. Asparagus extremely over cooked as well. My husbands, old fashion was also not an old fashion. It was basically whiskey, an ounce of simple syrup, maybe a dash of bitters, overly sweet, no orange pill, no cherry. probably the worst old fashion he’s ever had. Not to mention the lack of bar knowledge that was going on there, who doesn’t know what a skinny margarita is?!
Overheard the bartender say that the AC was broken. I was wondering while I was sitting in the waiting area so hot. The lady began to cough next to me and said because it’s so hot in here it’s making her asthma act up at that point I was already invested in staying. I wish the host would’ve said our AC is broken is that OK with y’all to stay?! I would’ve had the opportunity of saying yes or no, I would have left and came again a different day and I’m sure my experience would’ve been better. It was extremely hot to the point where I had to put ice on my feet because chewing the ice or putting in my hand and cheeks was not working, but like I said it was Father’s Day, and I was already invested in staying. shame on y’all for not shutting down the business or letting people know why it was so extremely hot in there. This is towards the management/owners. I know what kind of training longhorn receives. Darden training usually gives you really good training, and this does not hold up to a longhorn standard, extremely disappointment. But maybe I should’ve left after I saw the roach crawling in the waiting area where we’re sitting.
But I do want to reiterate that our server Frankie...
Read moreI have given better reviews for this place, but today was outrageous .i usually go here often enough, Im familiar with some of the staff, including the waitress Marjorie. She knows what my drinks are em is usually pleasant. Today she just grabbed me a Heineken and I hadn’t even said I wanted it, I also get a water and unsweet tea ro go and she knows this. She was very short and rude. I asked what was wrong and she was like she doesn’t know. Ok well just do your job and then another couple comes in and dne is all chatty and over extending her service, still i have not received my food for their or thr salad to go. It seems like it was taking forever and then someone brings my food. This time I ordered pork chop and broccoli, I took 3 bites and not sure what meat it was but I couldn’t stand to eat it. Usually the waitress is checking on me and others at the bar and she can clearly see I am having issues with this food, but pretends not to see me. I loudly say I can’t eat this and finally she was like they changed it. Okay what is it then and she stopped talking to me and back to the other couple. Then I had to ask for my water and unsweet tea and she was like sweet and I said no, u sweet you know I don’t drink that and she said no I don’t and you said sweet. Ok you can remember to bring me a beer I didnt ask for and not remember anything else. I asked what her problem was and she was like I don’t know.I asked for the manager and told him how rude she was and he pretended to be surprised and was like what can I do, talk to her. But I refused to pay she ignored me and not the white couple and was rude. Not sure what she is going through but leave it hime and dont mistreat ppl, bc of your problems. Real Racist treatment today and Im sure thats what she wanted me to say, I also usually give her nice tips but I won’t be back and Im sure...
Read moreOnce we were finally seated, it was a good 5-10 minutes before our waitress even came to take our drink order... and everything went downhill from there. Our waitress didn't check on us after our order, and someone else brought our food out, missing a side, and said the side would be right out. It never showed up. I had a sirloin and my daughter had the strip. Both steaks were well undercooked yet somehow overly tough. We didn't bother trying to send them back because it was a good half hour later that our waitress came back. Still missing the side. Finally the side arrived (cold, dry mac and cheese) along with the drink order I'd asked for when first ordering. BUT WAIT, IT GETS WORSE. The waitress thunked the mac and cheese down and slammed my margarita on the table hard enough to spill some... promised to bring my daughter another peach tea, and then DISAPPEARED AGAIN. We did not see her again for another 20 minutes, at which point we just asked another waiter to print our check. After he did and we waited again for the no show waitress to pick up the card, we wound up just walking up to the bar and cashing out there. Before you chalk it up to under-staffing, I should mention there were regularly a handful of staff just standing around one of the terminals near the kitchen. This is either poor management or porr management AND a very lazy waitperson. I used to say "if you want people to support you during a global pandemic, you have to put some effort into it." I will now change that to "If you want people to come back to you after a pandemic, you need to put some effort into it." This lack of simple customer service is inexcusable, and to top it off with poorly cut and cooked steaks (ESPECIALLY when STEAKHOUSE is in your name) is just criminally poor...
