Bad service at the moment to requesting table, ly daughter is a hard of hearing person, but she can speak. I asked her to request a table while I was outside in a phone call. The person who was assisting there ignored her when my daughter asked her again to be seated at the booth in the entrance. The employee told my daughter she has to wait like 30 minutes. After this, I came, and my daughter is telling me that and back to me, an American couple came in then the lady asked to them for be seating and she gave them the place my daughter was requesting 3 minutes ago. I asked my daughter to go to another place but she was really tired and starving because we were moving to a new house all day without having any meal at the day. I decided to stay. Waitress was attentive, but when my daughter tried to make the complaint, she ignored her then I have to talk and explained that my daughter has a hearing problem and her speech can be some times no too clear but she has to pay attention to her because she was complaint about how she was treated and ignored her some minutes ago, as the same way she was doing. She apologized. Nobody cares about the way my daughter was insulted, yes!! Insulted is the right word because it is really offensive that people with a special need can be treated as the same way of any other. I can also include that we are Hispanic, and I felt we also the lady at the entrance was a racist and she didn't like special need person. Waitress took a longer time to bring food, maybe because the complaint, hamburger, and French fries were cold, my daughter's plate incomplete she has to wait little more to get the sausage and bread, tortilla soup size requested for to go was a joke they said 8oz cup was the big portion. Well, fist experience here...
Read moreFirst things first, I couldn’t get to the reviews quick enough. Now this is the ONLY Jim’s that I go to in ALL of San Antonio. One of which, I’ve gone to for the past 10yrs, (since high school I’ve gone to this specific location), and tonight was the first time I’ve EVER had anything truly negative to say. To whomever was the cook on this night (02/27/25 at around 7:00pm CST shift), you (or y’all) absolutely DO NOT EVER need to bring your ass back to that kitchen. And I mean that with ALL disrespect. The pork chops were under cooked and disgusting, the corn had a weird tang to it, the chicken parm plate was nothing but bland noodles, marinara sauce and a bland piece of chicken fried chicken (something I could’ve whipped up at home but with actual flavor), and the garlic toast? Yeah it was toast alright, but with NO garlic. Just a sloppy greasy mess of butter and bread. I am VERY disappointed. When I tell you this is the literal first time in all 10yrs that I’ve ever been disappointed and pissed off with the quality of food here, I MEAN JUST THAT. I promise, whoever the cook was for tonight, you most certainly do not need to be in that kitchen. You can go play with increasing your cooking skills, but don’t go playing with people’s food like you did tonight. I hope you take this review very personal, because as I said, I mean every word with ALL disrespect to the...
Read moreTalk about a Bad Experience, and it only takes one. Food here is great, my Sister and I have been coming here consistently on Sundays for Brunch and on August 12th we brought her little ones with us.
We get it, they collect our name and we sit and wait. At the time we where the only ones who where waiting and then additional groups come in, same things they’re names are collected and wait along with us.
Where it all started was when all those other groups, same size as ours, where getting seated and we waited until we where the last grouo waiting, when asked the receptionist/placer whats going on we discovered our names where cross off, instead of acknowledging there was a mistake and apologizing and try to remedy the situation, she doubles down to the point of a major disagreement about to break out. So we left because aint no way being agrivated before even getting seated would ever be a good situation.
Turning away Customers and being Rude to a Family trying to enjoy a Sunday Brunch isn’t a good Business Model and we’ll take our Business Elsewhere, I would advise not giving them your Business because surely we aren’t the only ones being impacted by...
