It was three of us today for lunch. We hadn't been there in years. We were pretty excited to try it again. We ordered the appetizer sampler came with nachos, calamari and mozzarella sticks. The calamari was very soft and chewy soggy. In a sense, the mozzarella stick tasted burned, and from the inside was extremely wet and soggy. The nachos, on the other hand the cheese was cold. The chips were still, but it had a very particular taste.Like when you are cleaning your refrigerator and it leaves a smell of the chemicals used. Well, then the food I ordered the loaded potato soup with no bacon. Our waitress was kind enough to tell me that bacon is already mixed in. So I opted for a caesar salad instead, which was delicious. My husband ordered the loaded potato soup. After about ten to 14 ish minutes our waitress informed us that they didn't have any soup and it wouldn't be ready for about 20 more minutes. So he ended up with the minestrone soup. He said it tasted just like tomatoes with some cheese on top. Our child got a pizza that although I know is in the oven most was black burned so she just ate around it. I got the spicy chicken and shrimp, which had 0 flavor 0 spice and uh, all the noodles were completely broken in half torn, tasted more like water. The chicken in my plate was flavorless as well. My husband got the Johnny's trio. He never complains and will just eat his food but the parmesan chicken was completely burned and they put lots of tomato sauce on it to cover it up. The cheese was barely melted. He got chicken Alfredo on the side. Instead of the spaghetti and Lasagna, the Lasagna was barely touched. He said it tasted just like plain tomatoes as the minestron. Me soup, taste it and the best thing on his plate was the fettuccini, but barely. When our waitress brought us our food, I told her. Please go ahead and take the appetizer. She did come back in question. If you didn't like it or what was wrong with it? And I explained to her what was going on, she they immediately apologized and took it back, and since we left almost the entire thing. She took it off of our bill. She apologized numerous times we appreciated that the only thing that was really eaten off of our plates was my daughter's Pizza. I barely touched my food. I'm really disappointed but I appreciate our waitress for trying, and she was really on it with giving us refills for our...
Read moreHello, I have been a frequent customer here for years, but after this awful experience I am very hesitant to return. When I called the phone number listed on the website to place an our togo at 2:30 to pick up at 3 I was informed this was not allowed, because orders needed to be placed 15 minutes before the pickup time, which I already found odd, but I hung up and called back in 15 minutes anyways. At around 2:45 I called and placed my order, before placing my order I asked to confirm if family platters were still half off on Mondays and she confirmed they were, so I began telling her I wanted the family sized fettuccine alfrado, I specifically specified no chicken. I then proceeded to ask for 2 salads that came with the family meal, but she informed me that they did not come with the meal they were a 1$ extra each, which I thought was weird, because I come here every monday and order family sized meals and they are always half off and come with salads. I proceeded the order without salads, and hung up the phone. When I arrived to pick up my food, not only was it not ready I was charged for the wrong item. I noticed that once I got my food there was very little in the togo container and asked one of the servers if this was the family sized meal? He informed me that it wasn't, and I told him that is what I ordered over the phone. He told me he would have to cancel my transaction and refund me my money to re ring up the correct item. I agreed and asked to make sure if the family sized platters were half off, he then told me they were not half off until 4pm, at which time it was only about 3:20. I was taking lunch to co-worker which is why I could not stay to speak to a manager at the time. When I arrived to have lunch with my coworker, and opened the togo container, I noticed that the pasta had chicken, and did not have enough sauce. I honestly would not even call what I had fettuccine alfredo, it was honestly a 10$ tray of pasta and chicken, which I specifically asked not to have. It is sad to say that this experience is not pleasant especially since I have been going...
Read moreWorst service I've ever had. Our server was high on something when he came to talk to us. He had to ask for our drink orders 4 separate times in our first 20 minutes there. He asked us 3 times if we wanted appetizers and we said no. He said he would bring us bread 4 times and NEVER brought any. At 30 minutes in he had 2 other people come by the table to check on us and repeat the drink orders! It's drinks, sodas, and waters it's not hard. Then he came to the table and sat down to tell us he has a long day and was sorry but he would get us the bread and correct drinks. Another 10 minutes went by and he hadn't fixed our drinks or brought bread. We are very patient people being that we have been servers in the past but asking 4 children to wait 45 minutes for bread and their drinks is crazy! I finally walked to the hostess podium to order to go instead because at this point we still hadn't even ordered. After 10 more minutes a manager came up and offered to take care of our food orders. She rushed our drinks and finally gave us bread. The server came back 2 more times asking us questions about what we had done with the orders. I said we placed them to go already. He just kept sitting down and apologizing. It was so weird and he was walking in circles around the restaurant doing nothing. Not talking to anyone just walking around and coming back to us to ask the same exact questions. He obviously was drunk or high. He couldn't keep his eyes open and was slurring his words. I appreciate the manager stepping in and the other staff helping but someone should've noticed that a customer was there for more than 20 minutes with no food or drinks at the table. The sense of urgency or awareness was lacking. I appreciate them taking care of us and we accept their apology but situations like this just can't happen for a business to...
