Updated Review: A Disgusting, Hour-Long Wait for a Dry Burger Update after 2 Years: I decided to give this location another chance after a two-year boycott, during which I had not spent a single dime here. Honestly, I only noticed one major change: they didn't 'park' every car like they used to. Instead, we were all just left to wait. My guess is they've decided that if customers are willing to pay $5 for a double cheeseburger that used to cost $1, then they'll wait no matter how long it takes. That lack of consideration is truly insulting. I waited in that drive-thru line for a shocking 1 hour and 2 minutes. My order was simple: two double cheeseburgers, a McChicken, a Hot 'N Spicy, and a basket of fries. When I finally received the food, I was met with utter disappointment. My first double cheeseburger was completely dry. It felt like it was made an hour before it was handed to me. I had invested so much time and money—money that, only a few years ago, would have bought me four times the food—that I felt compelled to eat it, hoping I don't get sick. If you make a customer wait 1 hour and 2 minutes, the bare minimum level of respect you can offer is to give them a freshly made meal. I am genuinely disgusted by the lack of consideration and customer care. I took a chance and gave this place another opportunity, and I regret it completely. A "fresh" burger is one that doesn't bend and flop around—mine was far from it. I am seriously tempted to call my bank for a refund. This experience only confirms why I started my boycott in the first place
P.S. The woman that was at the second window, who served me my food, was kind. You could hear the positivity in her voice. If it weren't for the unsatisfactory preparation of my food, prior to even reaching that window, she would have earned my loyalty. Maybe she should be recognized, and the kitchen...
Read moreThey screwed up my order once again, why am I even surprised is the real question, when I returned it they didn't want to make my order. I asked for the manager who was young blonde girl, absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever! She says what happened? Knowing darn well they told her what was going on, then she says yeah so we're really short staffed and these things happen. I explained that it's not acceptable which she shrugged and said she'd refund my money. I got home and they still haven't refund me as of Tuesday morning!! This McDonald's must be independently owned and operated because it's singularly the worst for accuracy, consistency and customer service. Her name was Alexis or Keisha I'm not certain which...she was probably the reason I will now avoid this McDonald's. Update: to be clear, the above review was for McDonald's on Prue and babcock and it remains one of the poorest managed restaurants that Ned Stagg owns. I'm so glad they're keeping bankers hours now. More incentive to avoid that nightmare. Now the McDonald's i went to last night was on access of 410 and Evers. It wasn't a nice McDonald's for a long time but the last 3 visits there have completely blown me away! Customer service was top notch! Fast and friendly! Great sizes AND they brought back the 1.00 any size drink!!! So happy for that! Value, quality outstanding service and the foods not half bad! The young men working DT really deserve a raise, they were busting it, this is a busy restaurant but they were smiling polite and went above and beyond to ensure my order was not only correct...it was delicious 😋 thanks McDonald's for listening and hiring star...
Read moreBeyond angry...This McDonald's is one of my go to drive through's. I visit this place over 5 times a month. A few days ago, I ordered 20 piece nugget and double fish filet sandwich. The sandwich was COLD. Not exaggerating one bit, COLD. My wife was afraid to eat it because she was worried about food born illness. Since we were already almost home, we went to another McDonald's and asked for a remake. Integrity had me let them know it wasn't from their store, but asked if they would they honor and remake since it was all McDonald's. The answer was no, they could not honor it, so i purchased another sandwich. No biggie, I'll get a refund or remake at this Evers and 410 location. I call the store and leave a message 20 mins from the time of purchase, but what a surprise, no answer so leave a message. That was two days ago. I'll let you guess if they called back. Called again just now and they say they will not do anything unless I bring the food back. Well for one, it's been two days. Secondly, the other McDonald's kept the food. So guess what? I'm "out" of options. No ma'am I'm not, I'm calling corporate office or I'm showing up at the store. The offense of this manager (Amber) to not apologize nor de-escalate the situation is beyond words, since the business I own thrives on customer service. All this is AFTER they forgot my fries. I only found out because I checked my bag before I left. I'm almost speechless. I'll keep Google posted on their response to my complaint to corporate and/or...
