I went to this awful establishment on 8/5/18. This McDonalds by far has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Today I went to get ice cream cones for my kids because it was one of my kid’s birthday today. The worker took my order at the drive through and gave me a total of $4.05 for three cones. I waited 20 minutes in the heat and got to the 1st window and was told the ice cream machine is out of order. This made me extremely upset as this should have been told to me at the ordering window. It was extremely packed so I could not back back and leave. So the first lady asked me if I wanted something different I told her that this was very unconviencing to have me wait all that time for nothing so she asked me if I wanted to speak with a manager and I said yes. When I got to the second window they offered to replace the icecream cones for small smoothies and I said Ok, so then they wanted me to pay for the whole order. I told them I should only have to pay the $4.05 for the items they did not have because I was inconvenienced. The smoothies were $6 and change, The manager Rosa or Rosie got to the window and had the worst attitude I’ve I seen In my life. As soon as she saw me she says to me “if you didn’t pay for anything I’m not going to give you anything free.” Saying this as if I’m looking for a handout. I felt like I was being discrimated against . I cant believe she spoke to me this way. She spoke to me so ugly. I cant Believe McDonald’s was tripping over a $2 difference I shouldn’t have...
Read moreWhen we pulled into the drive-thru there were only two cars in front of us. We paid and started to drive forward to the pickup window but something was off. The car in front of us could not reach the window and the first car had their trunk lined up with the window. When they honked it dawned on me that they were doing something I have often thought of myself. Not willing to pull forward. Staff were asking as politely as possible for them to move forward with no luck. He was terribly rude. I mean c'mon?? Honking in the drive thru while waiting for your order is a pretty bold move.
Finally he pulled off, the car in front of me rolled forward. Were handed two drinks and they drove off. Two drinks.. and 4 minutes of their lives stolen from them by that customer. Wow.
I learned a valuable lesson just then. Often I have considered doing the same thing. I know now that refusing to move forward is never going to be an option for me. It was awful for the staff but that customer also shafted every other person behind them.
When we got to the window staff were extremly pleasant to deal with and very apologetic. I asked if that was what had happened and they said yes. And it happens often.
Would just like to say that I appreciate you guys and the service you provide. I will use this as a reminder for myself the next time I am becoming a little impatient to just calm down and add value rather than add frustration for employees and...
Read moreStopped here on the road home and I’m beyond dissatisfied. We ordered out food was told to park around the front because there was someone already waiting (in order to get fresh food ) in which we did. We waited over thirty minutes and our order never came out. We went to the window around 11:01 and all the night shift literally ignored us when we were knocking on the window asking for our food or refund they literally laughed and never opened the window. 15 mins later after steady knocked a manager finally comes out and said she delivered the first and second order first of all we never had two orders so boom you gave our food away after we waited and we’re on a timed schedule. Nobody cared why did it take us constantly knocking for something to be done why not see what’s going on from the jump we were literally holding our receipt up to the window asking for our refund while they laugh Ed and swept the floor. I will be contacting corporate as soon as they open up someone has to be held responsible or taught better customer service skills or better yet taught how to give the correct food...
