The La Senda coffee used to make my double espresso and cappuccino was stand out exceptional with deep tropical fruit and profound cocoa notes. The group I was with ordered the following . . . and based on our group cross taste-testing, we rated them as such: a chai latte (3.2 out of 5 stars), a dopio espresso (4.95 out of 5 stars), two affogatos (4.9 out of 5 stars), and two cappuccinos (4.6 out of 5 stars). We all agreed that the chai latte needed a bit more proportional concentration of the spices, which were slightly weak. None of us like a chai latte too sweet, but it could’ve used just a tad more sweetness. The temperature of the chai latte was right on point along with the foamy crema. We had our drinks in house, but they were served in the disposable cups. Based on the fact that it was our first visit to a Merit Coffee, we are not sure if reusable coffee mugs were an option. Either way, I suggest that the owners have the cashiers ask the patrons if they would be consuming their drinks in house, and if so, offer them demitasse cups for espresso and larger vessels for larger drinks. The atmosphere inside is modern, minimalistic, and overall moderstely pleasant; but it’s not as cozy, nuanced and eclectic as a coffee house could be. Overall, even though this Merit is in a quiet sector of town, it’s definitely a plus to have this craft coffee company as a choice alternative to the larger national chain Coffee houses. The price points for the quality of drinks and the portion sizes in my estimation were a tad high especially with respect to the portion sizes for the cappuccinos, chai latte, and affogatos. Overall, the craft coffee served at Merit, especially for a good espresso, is the main draw of why I would come back. 3.9 or of 5 stars.

šŸ™‚ Dining area 4 🤷 Restroom ? šŸ™‚ Customer service 4 šŸ™‚ Food presentation 4 😁 Food taste 5 Really good tasting coffee. Their standard coffee is Monjes flavor by Merit Coffee. It looked like plain coffee cup. Nothing fancy or innovating. I noticed the coffee itself has a reddish look to it. They had good customer service. Dining area is really nice and clean. Kinda dim ambiance and modern styling. Although, I don't really like their choice of ghetto music. Maybe more family friendly music would be best. This is a first visit review. But co-workers have brought this coffee to work and I liked it. I have not seen the restroom because I ordered a jug of coffee and left. I'll check out the restroom on my next visit. So far I say, 4.25 out of 5

I hopefully will be back to amend my review soon. but sadly AC is broken, several patrons were fanning themselves with their hands, and no temporary fixes are in place. the heat is unbearable. almond croissant was decent. the table arrangement is strange- there's no place to sit without being in direct line of the door or awkwardly close to the queue at the register. there are plenty of plugs to work at. the service is excellent and an employee was very polite and apologetic when asking me to move my car for the tow truck to bring in the new AC. I suspect the employees aren't happy with their PTO. please give them PTO!

fell in love with Merit coffee after swinging by a coffee shop in Austin where the barista let me taste a few of the brews on tap and also smell the beans to understand the flavors. I love the pink bag (as I call it)

I shared my love of Merit with a few of my friends and they have gone to the location here on Sonterra blvd to see if they might have the same passion as I do for your tasty beans. However their experience has not been the same. The baristas refused to let them taste the coffee. Then when asked to smell the beans, the barista claimed health code laws about allowing that to happen. When all you need to do is use a clean spoon to extract beans and place them in a cup.

These friends will now not buy merit coffee. One because they did not really like the latte (which is often ruined if someone doesnt know how to froth milk of make the espresso) and is not a true testament of the coffee beans you have. AND two, because your barista's are obviously incompetent and not customer centric.

There is no food rule that you cannot let people taste the coffee or smell the beans and this should be encouraged in a true coffee house.

I am disappointed. And its unfortunate that if you remain steadfast in this behavior, I will also have to find another local coffee brand...

ā˜• Merit Coffee Review I’ve been coming to Merit Coffee for years, and it’s never missed a beat. Whether I’m grabbing a quick pick-me-up or settling in for a work session, this place always delivers.

šŸ’› Latte Love My go-to drink is the latte—sometimes with caramel for a sweet twist, sometimes just classic and unflavored. Either way, it’s consistently smooth, rich, and satisfying. They know how to treat espresso with respect.

šŸ“ Snack Staples For snacks, I’m loyal to their poptarts (yes, those poptarts—flaky, fruity, and nostalgic in the best way). When I want something heartier, the hippie bar is a solid choice—nutty, chewy, and just enough sweetness to keep me going.

šŸŒž Vibe Check: Passed The vibe here is effortlessly cool. Tons of natural light make it perfect for working, reading, or catching up with friends. It’s the kind of space that makes you want to linger.

šŸ“± Convenience Wins The app and mobile order pickup are a game-changer. Super easy to use, and the staff are always friendly and efficient. You can tell they care about the experience.

Don’t Forget: Merit Coffee isn’t just about great drinks—it’s about consistency, comfort, and community. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a second home with top-tier...
