I'd honestly recommend Dr.James &/or Dr.Munch to anyone who is having fertility issues & are seeking treatment options! (And actually have recommended them to friends!) I've been so blessed with seeing both doctors! Where to even begin, these ladies are the sweetest women you will ever meet. They know what they are doing! They are there for you day or night, no matter the time, no matter how "silly" the question seem to be to you. They walk you step by step through everything & answer all your questions. I never once felt they were rushing the explanation, both took their times in explaining anything & everything to me. And trust me, I asked the same question like 20X because I kept forgetting how the process went or what the answer was! They never made me feel stupid or complained that I asked the same question or needed explanation again every visit! They truly took their time & made me feel special, every single visit. I drove from Corpus to San Antonio, they always accommodated me & what worked for my husband & myself. They will not do things until everything is 100% perfect. Which may seem so daunting at the time, but when you receive the results you are seeking, you are praising them for waiting until everything was just right! The staff, holy moly! Tess & Natalie are absolutely two of my favorites! Tess still cares months into my pregnancy! There was an incident that had Tess giving me her personal phone number because she wanted to make sure everything went alright! Why? Because that is how caring & loving their staff is!! Their entire staff is just absolutely truly one of a kind & remarkable all around! I am seven months pregnant & truly blessed to have found these doctors & their excellent staff to help me achieve the unachievable! I now live in Louisiana but already have plans on going back to Texas next summer to put my second daughter in by Dr.James! Also, Dr.James' numbers speak for themselves. She has a very high (higher than the national average combined!) success rates! Which also helps explaining why she waits until everything is PERFECT before going through with certain steps! But, ladies, it does PAY to be patient. I promise you!

I had an appointment last thursday. Dr. Munch was very informative and we liked that she made us feel comfortable. The reason for the low rating was the front desk staff Sharon. Let me preface by saying my husband and I know that these treatments cost money and aware it can be expensive. I gave my insurance information 3 weeks ago, plenty of time to verify my infertility benefits. We told Dr. Munch before and treatments or procedures, we would like to know our out of pocket first. After the consult Dr. Munch asked if we wanted to do an ultrasound my husband asked how much will it cost. She shook her head waved her hand and said it was nothing. When we went to check out Sharon grabbed the superbill and told us our total was $492. She then was rudly correcting the woman at check in for not collecting my insurance card. Which she did and it was even attached to my chart had she taken the time to look. We said for what. She responded the consult and US. I asked how much my insurance was covering and was told it was too late to verify my benefits.. mind you UHC has a 24 hour website. We informed her what Dr. Munch said and she just shrugged her shoulders. We asked if we could pay some now and be billed the rest after submitting to the insurance she shook her head as if we were inconveniencing her. I immediately called UHC and confirmed these CPT codes were covered and all I should have paid was a copay for a specialist. Now we are stuck waiting who knows how long for them to submit the information to the insurance and another 15 business days to get reimbursed. Sharon really needs to fix her attitude and insurance needs to be verified prior to patient appointments. I’ve been seeing Dr. Munch for 4 years now. Our first child was conceived via IUI (on the first try!). Of course there was lots of testing and ups and downs but Dr. Munch was trying to get us our baby as fast (and as safely) as possible. Our second child was conceived naturally but unfortunately ended in a stillbirth due to a cord knot. When it came to try for baby number 3, when tried for 3 months and went straight to Dr. Munch. We did not want the continuous heartache of trying over and over after just losing our daughter so thought it best to go this route. This time we decided to go to IVF because of my numbers and probability of success being faster. I am currently 14 weeks (please pray for us and a successful delivery). Her entire staff is amazing from the front desk to billing to her techs. We worked with Anahi who was amazing, she was always answering my crazy phone calls and emails and I appreciate the entire team for being so wonderful. I hardly ever had to wait long and would regularly start my appointments on time. It was easy to get appointment times. Dr. Munch was always willing to answer my questions and spend time explaining things which I greatly appreciated. We plan to see Dr. Munch again, when it’s time, and again am very thankful for her...
