It's been a while since we've been back to Salata. This location is most convenient for us so whenever we feel like eating healthy, this is where we go. Love the multitude of choices from the type of greens to the seemingly endless toppings to the protein. Most of the time I get the larger portion and split it to 2 meals - one I eat there and the other I take to work. This time my husband and I decided to each get the small salad. It seems like my husband had so many toppings on his compared to mine. For my protein, I usually like the pesto chicken. Love the crunch of croutons! Looks like the pita chips seems like a newer option. I got lots of that to crunch on. Even with the small I still couldn't finish. My husband tells me we should eat here once a week. Would be a good goal to eat healthier!

This place is so delicious! I didn't know what to expect before I walked in. Some reviews read buffet while others read salad bar. Yes, it is a salad bar but unlike what you're used too; it is NOT a buffet. There's two choices for salad size- small and large and an option to make a wrap. The staff behind the counter then makes your salad or wrap as you tell them what ingredients you want. The dressings are so fresh. The bread, croutons and pita are made there. You can add protein for an extra charge. They also have soup, cookies, tea and lemonade. No sodas here folks! It's the best salad place I've been too! Oh and what's awesome is under every booth is an outlet, because we've all needed one at one time or another.

Update: 11/26 I am not sure about this location yet, but, the Quarry location sure did have some hot soup! After my intial review, Salata reach out to make to make it right! It's obvious they care about each and every customer! I will update with 5 stars, once I visit this location again. I live an hour away from this location. We were running errands and I decided to get my Salata fix on a cool day. I got a tomato basil soup to go. As we drove away, I noticed it barely felt warm. Not even a block away, I opened it and it was slightly warm at best. No steam at all. I could touch it with my finger easily. Extremely disappointed.

The place is clean, I came in and there was no one in line, I was unsure if I wanted the wrap or salad. The young lady that asked me what I wanted was serious.... i told her i needed a few seconds more and was trying to decide what to have.. i then realized she had not said " hi" " welcome to salata " or anything of that sort. She then asked me again... like " hurry up" tone of voice. I said "ill have a wrap" and began picking my ingredients.... later I realized they had forgotten that I said wrap. None of the ladies that were there serving had any customer service skills... I'm Guessing this is why they're here gaining experience.. they didn't t make eye contact with me, they were looking at the clients coming in or other employees doing other things. They served me items I had not chosen which wasn't a big deal bc I like all...( I have braces and tried to only have softer items) she want paying attention! Then I asked if the chicken could be served separate just in case it was too hard to chew on sensitive teeth, The girl said yes and served me the chicken she "thought" I had picked i told her thats not the one I wNted and she asked " then which do u want" I proceeded and picked bread over pitta and In The end they forgot to include the bread in my bag. I understand they're all teenagers, who may not " Need" the job and perhaps that's why they don't try a bit harder . I probably will come again... not as often though. The salad was good but it seemed like their portions are getting smaller and smaller. They also don't have the teacher...

I eat here at least 3 times a month. Think of it as Souper Salad's smarter, friendlier, prettier sister.

Everything on the menu is EXTREMELY fresh and crisp. There are so many options and no matter how you customize your salad, the base options are all the same price. You can add different proteins for an added price as well. I also appreciate that they have pitas chips as an alternative to bread as well as a vegan soup. They are always mindful to ask about food allergies as well - which is reassuring because so many people have deathly allergies these days. I don't but I have family members who do so I appreciate them taking the time to ask.

Each location is always very clean. (I go to them all)

All in all a great value. My salad of choice is a Large with: kale, spring mix, jicama, carrots, cilantro, cucumbers, sundried tomatoes, pineapple, grapes, strawberries, olives, pasta, walnuts, and sunflower seeds. And a side of pitas chips. All that for about $10! Super filling.

Highly recommended! (I'll add photos next time... it's so good that I forget...

The service is horrible. I love the food but the service is the worst ever. Every time I go there is something. The kids that takes orders are too young to understand the business and they treat customers like they are doing us a favor. They aren't not nice at all. In My last experience I was with my baby and in the last part of our meal and my baby wants to go to the bathroom so I take my wallet and ran into the restrooms well we didn't last 5 min when we came back they clean up my table completely. Well I told them what happens and they say it was not body in there and they clean it so they told me we can replace the small one. What? really? How you think I feels?. They ruins my dine in and they show me that it was my fault because the table was empty. really??? what I supposed to do take the food with me or leave my wallet in the table so someone can take it. We didn't last more than 5 min. ...
