I love the beauty of the oldies set up. Itâs a great looking place with oldies to listen to while youâre there. The burgers were requested toasted twice. We didnât get them toasted, and they said they toast all of them. Ours felt like the way they feel from the bag when you eat them cold. That, honestly upset me a lot because the bread I tasted very bad. Perhaps toasted, I may have liked it. I remembered that the last time was here, I didnât like it either because of the bread, and I hadnât reviewed. So here goes my opinion. The burgers are okay, a 3 at most, and itâs not because of the sauce. Their sauce is a 5. Itâs delicious. Itâs also super affordable. Two of us ate for 10.39!!! You donât see that anymore, so Iâm grateful for that, and I completely get why the patty canât be too thick for that price! But, truly, it is the right amount of food, and you wonât feel overfull or broke. We have to appreciate them since most people purposely enlarge/add to their food plates and patty burgers to double the price The fries are blah until you add the pepper and salt, and then, they become top notch. I wish theyâd just add it, but at the very least, they provide the pepper and salt shakers on the table. You donât see that often. I loved that detail. They give three extra sauces before they charge. That was nice. We had two cheeseburgers and shared one fries for 10.39, saving us lots of money and allowing us to eat less of the fried stuff we try to avoid. I think everyone should definitely try P. Terryâs!! I know I may not consider it a 5 star burger joint, but it saves families a lot of money. Thank you, P. Terryâs. What would make it better would be jalapeños like Inn and Out, and I forgot to order them to see if they had any. :/ I donât know if they have any here, but they...
Read moreWhat a lovely experience. Chuck was so friendly and kind enough to give me a lemonade even though I didnât know it was not part of the combo. The entire building is beautifully designed and painted inside and out! Nostalgia central and not to mention the fantastic prices! It was the first time my wife and I visited this city and restaurant and we couldnât have picked a better place to stop in. Iâm yet to receive my food but Iâm am totally confident that it will be delicious. Iâll keep this open until I get my food so I can keep track of the time it takes for service as well as to include the review of the food itself. Ordered at 11:57. Freshly prepared food arrived at 12:05. Time to eat. 12:10 finished a delicious lettuce wrapped chicken sandwich that was prepared exactly to my needs. French fries were hot and crispy, the ketchup in store is All Natural no corn syrup or artificial anything, this is one of the best things in my opinion. I have a corn allergy and this is the first restaurant that has ketchup that is friendly to me. My wifeâs burger, in her words is âclassic, nothing extra, just nostalgic flavors and memoriesâ. Please please please show this to the owner and recommend they open a store in Houston. There would be a huge market for the quality of this food at this price point. It really is unbeatable. 10/10...
Read moreWoah woah woah... To all those complaining that a made to order burger with fresh ingredients and a delicious tangy sauce better than both mcds special sauce and in and outs burger sauce, that only costs $2.75 or $3 and change if you want cheese, is smallish... Get a look at the prices I just mentioned... I can't go to whataburger and spend less than triple that on a burger. So next time grab two patties if you want a little more meat and your still beating whataburger for cost easily. I personally love the size. It's filling without being gross. I love adding some grilled onions or grilled jalapenos if I'm feeling frisky. I also highly highly recommend the breakfast no one seems to track. Served until 11 you can grab and egg burger with bacon or sausage or both on the side they can give you some potato chunks in forget if it's home style or scotched or whatever you call them, but imagine taking a fat steak fry and chopping it into 4 pieces and frying those. That's the breakfast potatoes and like everything else at PTerrys they're dynamite. Don't make me start on the shakes or lemonade. If anyone is giving these spots under 5 stars it's gotta be service related. I have had some issues at the NB location with...
