I love Salata, and I always have a great experience when I come, but last night the person helping me did not add any dressing into my salad. The salad tasted like lettuce. It was absolutely gross. I had asked her if I could try other dressings because I always get the avocado jalapeño ranch, and she let me try the chipotle and the tomato basil. Then she said her favorite was to mix all of those three. I kindly acquiesced to her recommendation and told her she could mix them. Well, I guess between her recommending and my kids telling them what they wanted next to me, who had waited patiently for me at the front of the line, to me asking for shrimp, she forgot to add the dressings, left my salad dry, and I bet she didn’t even know it! The salad had zero taste. If she did add dressing, the mixtures were a fail, or she didn’t put enough. What a disaster trying a bland salad that had no significant taste but tasted like nothing. My Avocado Ranch always taste amazing. Anyways, my dog, Sugar Rush, loved it, so it wasn’t total money in the trash. I’ll keep coming, and they honestly always leave me super happy each time, but this experience was awful for me. I didn’t have dinner. Do watch them to assure they don’t forget or to make sure they add enough; otherwise, Salata deserves a rating of a 5. I added pictures from a visit post the last review one. I also changed the rating. It’s a great place, prices are reasonable for all the ingredients you get, and the views are nice if you sit by the back window. The help is great also.

I ordered two salads yesterday to feed myself and friend lunch and dinner on our long days at work (today). I put in the order notes: "please toss salad", not a big request. I did not order (and it isn't on the receipt) whatever pickled or spicy pepper the yellow-green veggies are. My salad was not tossed, and these yellow-green things have flavored the whole salad unpalatably and intolerably. So no lunch or dinner for me. My advice: order through the line so you can verify what you're receiving, or avoid Salata. And if you must order online, take the time to open your salad and pick through it before you leave. This is the 5th time, over 3 different branches, that my order notes have been ignored. And this is the 3rd time, over 2 different branches, that food elements I didn't choose were added to my food. Once an element was omitted without notice, this was tolerable till the other incidents piled on top. Special note to people with food allergies: be cautious. Something odd, is two different employees looked at the salads order receipts while they sat waiting to be bagged and handed to me...

I give very few places 5 stars but I have to give Salata the full 5. I've been craving that salad ever since I tried it two weeks ago and I simply haven't had the chance to go back. But I absolutely will. I LOVED the whole setup, from the helpful and attentive staff to the layout of the dining area to the delicious assortment of ingredients and dressings. The ginger lime vinaigrette is the stuff of dreams! I had plump, juicy blueberries, abundant blue cheese crumbles, nuts, perfectly washed spinach, Herb marinated chicken, cucumber, and a whole lot more! I feel like such a fool but having tried this place. Easily one of the best news places I've tried in the last decade and it's been around the corner from me for years! The multigrain roll is also really tasty. I messed up and added the steak also. It was really tasty, but the salad didn't need two proteins. Truly a wonderful place where I felt full but not gross. The tea was fantastic also!

My husband was in the area, we live about 20 to 25 mins away. I placed an online order ahead of time. I only have a 30 minute lunch. My husband makes it right on time, I look at the salad and immediately see that feta cheese was added. I can not eat, smell or stand Feta cheese! I immediately checked my online order receipt thinking I made a wrong selection, I did not. I called the restaurant and got a busy signal three times before someone picked up. My husband at this point had already started driving back to Salata. I spoke with a manager who even though apologized was not very empathetic about the inconvenience it caused us. I proceeded to explain the issue and after lookng for my name in the online orders could not find me. I offered my order number, she said that she would not be able to find me that way. I again told her that my husband has the salad, the receipt and how we don't live near. She said she couldn't refund us because all the additional toppings like cheese are free. In the end they remade a new salad, but when my husband tried to get a complimentary peice of bread, he was told we had already been given one and that I had not mentioned that when i called. My husband also said that the manager took the receipt and went through each item on the returned salad as if to check if everything was there. As much as I like Salata, I feel that this could have been handled differently for the time, gas and inconvenience. A free peice of bread would have been nice!*Update. Two Salata representatives, maybe one was the owner not sure, but they emailed me to address my experience and even compensated me with rewards for a future purchase! I appreciated the email and effort to make us (the customer) feel valued. They went above and beyond in this situation and this shows great...
