Read moreFirst, I want to start out with the positive, which was our server Jessica R. She took care of our entire table and made sure we had everything we needed during our visit, so I must say out of the entire experience, I do not have a single complaint about Jessica and would like to praise her again for taking care of my family while we ate our dinner. She made sure we had what we needed, refills kept coming, and she did an over all awesome job of making our experience a little bit better even though the food was very disappointing.
The timing for our appetizers and meals was decent. We did not have to wait long to have some biscuits on our table, while we waited for our appetizers. Then, our meals came out about 30 minutes after ordering. This is where things go from great to disappointing......
My entire family ordered the Create Your Own Ultimate Feast. Overall for $39.99 each, I would say that the amount of food and quality of food was definitely not worth what we paid. My husband, my kids, and I all ordered the Maine Lobster Tail as an entree which all of them tasted extremely undercooked and slimy. It made it extremely unenjoyable from the beginning. The only item that tasted good on our plates was the snow crab legs that my kids and I got to enjoy. My husband ordered the grilled sirloin (medium) and unfortunately the steak came out tasteless, burnt, and extremely well done. I told my husband to let Jessica know about the sirloin at least, but he did not want to cause a fuss in the restaurant.
Overall, when we got the bill, I got extremely sad thinking of how many other seafood/dinner places we could've visited for a much better meal for the price we paid. My family and I do not get to go out to eat that often and the fact that we spent so much money on food that was not even worth it, makes me the most sad. Unfortunately, I will not be back to Red Lobster even though Jessica R did a great job of taking care of our table. It is disappointing to spend so much money on food that is not even half worth the price of what it's listed at...
Read moreWe went on a Wednesday night, April 3rd, 6:16, where they had $25 surf and turf. I like the surf, and my husband likes the turf. So he ordered the same. I got his lobster, and he got my steak. The waitress was nice, but here is the situation. She said we could have either the rib eye or filet Migon. So my husband said he would have the rub eye. And i did the same. Then we had choice of sides. We both ordered the bake potato, and my husband asked what came on it. She said it was loaded with sour cream, butter, bavon bits, and chives. So we both ordered that. The meal was great, then the bill came. My husband saw that they charged us both $33.50 for the surf and turf, not the price of $25. And charged us for loaded bake pototo. My husband told the waitress why it was $33.50 when it should be $25. She said we ordered ordered the rub eye that was $7.50 more. My husband said he told her we wanted the $25 surf and turf, and she said you should have ordered the sirlon, not the rib eye that is more. When asked about the bake potato, she said you wanted it loaded. My husband said he asked what loaded meant. After she said the bake potato was loaded, never telling him it was more for each item. Since it was my birthday, he did not want to debate her, but i could tell he wanted to say a few other things. We paid and left. This issue with the waitress won't stop us from going to Red Lobster again. I just hope someone at this location reads this and maybe train her a little more. To have her be more clear when she explains specials and what come with them. So once the bill arrives, you dont see an extra $25 of added cost, you were...
