Squeezers Juice Bar — Restaurant in San Antonio

Stopped by here while looking for a healthy bowl in the Southtown area. it was midday during the week, so it wasn't crowded at all. Was immediately greeted by Alex who was very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and offering some suggestions.

There were so many good options, but finally settled on the Must Do Mango Bowl, Berry Banana Bowl, and Clean Green Juice. While waiting, it was nice looking at the artwork and nice decorations in the sitting area. Also, read nice article about the owners, Keith Simpson and his wife Alexandria. Felt even better supporting this small busines who has a good story.

About 10 minutes later, Alex brought everything out to the table. Bowls were carefully made and looked great. Lot of fresh fruit with a nice mix of blended base, liquid juice/milk, and garnishments. Smooth base with crunchy mixings.

Nice place with good food and great customer service. Will definitely stop by again when...

RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED. There are far better and more reasonably priced juice spots in SA. Walked in when there was no one else in the store, at 12:30 on a Sunday and was immediately told "we're not doing juices right now because we're just too backed up." How is a "juice bar" unable to make juice? How is a place that is so overpriced so understaffed? How much of these crazy prices is actually going to the employees? Cashier looked like she had just woken up and had a very bland, impersonal demeanor.

I'm honestly surprised they were even open as I've tried coming three other times during their posted business hours and they've been randomly closed with an "out to lunch" sign that is not adhered to (time shown that they'd be back by had already passed). This seems like a very unprofessionally run business. San Antonio...

Squeezers. Is. Awesome. Everything about this place makes you feel cool, and refreshed.🍋 The owner, Keith, is always at the shop, washes all the veggies by hand, and has an amazing story and message about bringing wellness to the San Antonio community.

The atmosphere of the shop is super welcoming- great hip hop music playing, magazines (like @vidamagazinetx) and paintings to check out, and his wife and young children are often there bringing joy to the entire place. Squeezers is also involved in the community and loves giving back, so that's another great reason to support them!
