I was visiting from WI and googled parks near me and this came up. It was very nice to walk in the relative cool of the morning. Very family friendly - I saw kids with parents playing on the play equipment. There's sidewalks all around the perimeter and ones throughout the park. It looks like the city has done a LOT of recent construction and improvements to this park and it's in a nice neighborhood! I felt safe walking by myself on a Saturday morning. Lots of people walking 🐕s as there is a fenced-in dog park area within the park. Additionally there is a basketball court that's covered as well as restrooms, benches and seats with tables so you could sit and eat, read a book, etc. If you're in the area, this is a great one to check out!

This is a great newly renovated Park near Downtown SA! The kids area is not yet open however, it should be soon! And by the looks of the playground kids are going to love it! There is also a cute area with lights and picnic tables near the dog park so bring your snacks and pups! At the top of the hill of this park is my SECOND favorite view of Downtown! My absolute favorite is just down Hays street on the walking bridge! This is a perfect place for an AM outing with the whole family! Don't forget to walk to the bridge... You won't be disappointed!

Love this park! I’ve been coming to this park for years and the remodel that has happened to the park is the best thing ever. There is a well lit picnic area for you to feel safe and comfortable to sit and eat and enjoy the beautiful city of San Antonio . The restroom is unsex which I love ! Toilet paper is provided. 🫶 The doggie park looks very clean and well kept . The park is patrolled hourly to make sure the community is safe .

I love the new park for my son who is about 20 months old! There is a lot of places for him to climb and explore at his age. Today my extended family took him to the park and someone stole the diaper backpack! Thankfully there was nothing too valuable in there but they stole my sons lunch, water bottle, and diapers. I hope whoever stole it has a baby they need to take care of but it felt very sad that someone would take a backpack clearly for an infant.

The playground equipment also already has some graffiti, specifically on the tallest play place someone has carved into the rubbery climbing parts where they wrote something about either crack or meth (I can't remember).... like come on people don't we want...
