This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been too....and I am a frequent customer all over San Antonio. My family and I recently moved to the Alamo Ranch area back in September and we are customers about 3 times a week at this location as its the closest to our house. Our drinks are NEVER correct, I have spoken with the manager multiple times, but the service never gets better! The workers are very nice however, they seem more interested in having fun with each other instead of actually servicing customers. About two weeks ago, I had an important test all the way over at St.Mary's University and I had an hour to get there, I was first in line at approximately 7am soon joined by one other customer. There was a huge drive thru line with 1 team member servicing it as 6 other employees and the manager joked around for 8 minutes before taken our orders in line. The 6 employees were standing around, doing nothing, joking about how the manager had just previously fired a re-hire and how another employee had been asleep in the back of the store for 3 hours. The manager was standing right there joking along with them. I asked the customer next to me if she had anywhere important to be and she smiled and said she had a meeting downtown in 40 minutes, this is when the employees finally took notice of us. When I ordered, they made my drink wrong (of course) and I ordered a muffin, they asked if I wanted them to warm it up for me and I pointedly said I would have preferred a warm breakfast, but I now do not have the time for them to warm it up, when I finally got it, it was ice cold and rock hard (yum). I would have understood if they were busy and all employees were working hard to service their customers, but as I have said the majority were doing nothing and 1 was working. As if people waking up super early in the middle of the work week have nothing better to do then stand in line or through the drive thru for 10-20 minutes. If I am paying $6 plus for breakfast or coffee, I expect to be serviced, not ignored with a wrong order. This Starbucks needs a serious redo in terms of employees and management. Save yourself time and money and buy breakfast and coffee and the Dunkin Donuts...
Read moreSubject: Extremely Disappointing Experience at Starbucks – 1604 & Culebra Road
I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable treatment I experienced at the Starbucks located at 1604 & Culebra Road. To put it plainly, I was treated with complete disrespect.
I placed an order through the app, which stated it would be ready in 3 minutes. When I arrived, Shannon rudely told me I needed to wait 5 minutes instead — despite the fact that there wasn’t a single customer in line the entire time I was waiting. When I questioned the delay, Shannon’s response was dismissive and condescending, essentially telling me to shut up.
When I attempted to escalate the issue and called for a manager, Shannon answered and sarcastically said, “Oh, it’s you?” That level of unprofessionalism was shocking. To make matters worse, when I asked for the manager’s name and a time to contact them, Shannon refused to give me any information.
On top of that, the drink I received wasn’t even appealing. After all that trouble, I expected to at least enjoy my order, but it was poorly made and didn’t meet the usual quality standards I expect from Starbucks.
In addition, I called to report the situation, and the only thing offered was to refund my points. There was no real acknowledgment of the inconvenience, my wasted time, or how uncomfortable this experience made me feel about returning to this location. A refund of points does not make up for being treated so poorly.
This was completely unacceptable. No customer should be treated with that kind of disrespect and attitude. Shannon’s behavior was rude, unprofessional, and reflects poorly on the store’s customer service standards. I strongly suggest that Shannon receive retraining on how to properly handle customer interactions — or consider whether she’s suited for a customer-facing role at all.
I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed promptly. Experiences like this make customers think twice...
Read moreTo the Starbucks for six months
For six months I have come over here. I’ve also visit another one’s however, this is the closest to my house.
And for six months, this location by far seems to never be flowing properly
I’m not sure if they’re understaffed or under trained but for some reason when there is a line through the drive-through window, I don’t care if it’s two cars or five cars it is extremely long the amount of time the drive-through takes to go through. I have to give myself 30 extra minutes because for some reason it is extra long.
They don’t move as I am not sure what’s happening at this location but when I compare this location to the Alamo Ranch location and a Potranco store I’m always waiting the longest longest Starbucks
Thhis morning Cars in line so I knew I was going to sit there for at least 30 minutes so I went inside. It seems to me the only way you can walk in and out of the Starbucks is if you have a mobile order
Just not understanding at the speed that things are happening here
I never have a complicated order I always order coffee that’s already made and it takes just as long so if this location is primarily mobile orders, maybe we should close the...
