Great place large tacos great serving size worth the money. Id recommend. Normally if be upset that they closed so early but the are open at 3ish essentially catering to the early birds and night shift workers so its well worth the trip even if you aren't close by. I ate 2 and they filled me up. I bought 3 barbacoa(beef), Bean&cheese(its longhorn cheese but you get a large taco so its to keep the price down), 2 encebolladas (spicy onion and bell peppers with meet), 2 egg & Bacon, and 2 Carne Guisada. My wife enjoyed them and even pregnant she could only eat once before she was full. I work in a shifting schedule but I'll try my best to keep going. Downside they use long horn cheese however its probably to keep portions high and cost low. They have a rating of A92 from the health inspector and do require mask at the counter when paying for To-Go meals. They Accept cash. They take phone orders but I don't think they deliver or partner with any food delivery company so call in an order if you can. Staff is quite ok they are sure to treat you good in Spanish and English they have an interesting decor but then again they are there for early birds and night shift workers so decor...

I had not been to Terans in a few years. Years ago they were cash only and did not take cards. The food was excellent, but I did not return because I seldom carry cash. After my early morning walk, I decided to give them a try again, while I waited for WalMart to open at 6am. I ordered #15 the Chilaquiles Plate. I forgot to hold the re-fried beans, but glad I didn’t. My plate of food was too large for me, so I had enough to take home for another meal. The Chilaquiles were the BEST I had eaten thus far since moving to SA six years ago. I never eat re-fried beans, but these beans were flavorful and delicious. I loved my meal. I will be a returning customer. Another plus....They open early at 3:30am. They close at 1:30pm. Terans Mexican Restaurant does take cards for payment now. The staff there are kind people.

On December 16, 2021 I returned to have a quick bite before an appointment. I ordered the Chilaquiles plate again and was terribly disappointed. For some reason mixed vegetables were added to my papas, the tortillas were hard, and I could not and did not more than a mouthful of what was on my plate. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen that day, not sure I...

The lady who took my order was friendly. I waited about 5 minutes for my bacon and egg taco. I asked for green salsa when handed my bag and was told it was in the bag. IEn route home, I checked the bag and it wasn't so I went back to get it. I got home and was excited to see the size of the taco. My excitement quickly ended. The taco was HOT (yay 🎉) but it was HARD, even on the inside. 😳 I tore the edges off the tortilla and then the outside 'shell' of the egg/bacon but it was so dry and just got harder so I threw it away. This was so obviously microwaved or reheated in some way. The only time I've seen tortillas get hard after being piping hot is out of the microwave and it's the only way I've seen eggs dry out and turn hard. If not a microwave, some other reheating method. The POINT Is that there's NO WAY it was freshly made. It was inedible. 🤮 Never again. I'll keep going around the corner200-300 yards farther up the street and around the corner on WW White for my breakfast tacos. I still have a bad taste in my mouth. They should feel ashamed to have...

My first time here and I'm so glad I gave this quaint place a try. First off their tacos are big and hearty. Their tortillas are soft and homemade. I tried their Teran taco and Beef Fajita with avacado taco. Their Teran has refried beans, egg and potato, country sausage, bacon, ham, and cheese. They pack their tacos and I'm shocked how flavorful it was. Everything tasted fresh and made well. The salsa Verde has a great taste and a nice little kick. Beef fajita with avacado was on point. Their meat is tender and good quality. They put grilled onions and green bell pepper. Pure perfection. The avacado was fresh. Their sweet tea is delicious. My husband got the Carne guisada and a Teran taco. He said his carne guisada was good. The meat was tender. One taco is filling enough and the prices are unbeatable. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming.

We came to this place since it had good reviews. Unfortunately we are very disappointed with the service, first we had a really nice waitress, she took our drinks order, then another server came, I asked her a question in regards the chicharron with Nogales taco, instead she started telling me that they been serving the same size for the last 37 years, I explained to her that it was our first time visiting, then instead of answering a very simple question she want it me to order the teran taco, then my daughter order the number 29 (3 enchiladas with rice and beans) my other daughter need it a few more minutes. At the end the server never came back to finish taking our order, they gave us enchiladas with gravy, no rice or beans, and the ice tea was honestly way too sweet, never coming back.

Access to the restaurant was very easy. Once inside, the aroma of fresh cooked mexican cuisine hits you. The place is very clean and cozy. Once seated, we were greeted quickly, given a menu and a drink order was taken. Our order for food was taken and after a small wait, (they were a little crowded at the time), we received our food. The Teran's Special was very good. It was so big, that we each took home half of our orders. The Carne Al Carbon Taco was big and flavorful as well. You can tell that the tortillas are fresh made. The staff here is very friendly and will help you out if your not familiar with the types of meats, etc. The cost vs. amount of food ratio is outstanding. We will be back to give the other dishes a try.
