What a disappointment and disaster of a restaurant. My friend and I went in to get a bite at The Beagle. When we arrived, we were not greeted at the door. We were not shown to our seats. We were not given menus, told the specials of the day, nor were we told that we had to order EVERYTHING at the bar. We sat around for a good 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging that we were there. My friend decided to go to the bar to ask for menus, and it seemed like there was only one person working the front end of the restaurant. That's a really bad sign right there. Where's your front of house? Where's the hospitality? Why is the bartender taking food orders for the dining area? It was so chaotic at the bar with all the yelling and hollering from other customers. My friend and I didn't even stay to order food, as I can only imagine how bad it would be with such seemingly short staff. Whoever the owners are should be ashamed of their restaurant for the prices they are charging. I don't have time to waste on a restaurant with zero service and a horrible atmosphere. Wish I could give this...

Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a fun night out with great food, drinks, and service, look no further than the Beagle pub in San Antonio. You won't be...
Read moreFor a place that calls itself an “eatery”, I found it odd that the kitchen was closed on a Saturday night at 7 because the “cook went to the store”, but had a drink in the meantime. When he finally came back, I got mozzarella sticks. They were overdone, but still edible, and figured I would try the wings since that is what they touted on their sign outside. I couldn’t get the new bartender’s attention for another drink and to order said wings; another patron had to flag her down for me (and then the bartender splashed the patron with a drink trying to open the shaker upside down). Once I finally got my drink, I sat and tried to enjoy my preferred playoff game, and a roach climbed up on my table to enjoy it with me. Needless to say, I was done after that. Went to wash my hands from the sticky table, and there was no soap. Gross.
Pros - Cheap drinks, decently priced food (if you can get it) Cons -...
