I am disappointed in the customer service at this establishment. I don't know what happened but I received the wrong ice cream. I ordered an Oreo hot coco (I know it's a seasonal item, so they charge me extra for each mix in) and got something different with no Oreos and chocolate shavings instead. When I told the lady at the drive through it wasn't right, a small fair skinned girl was bickering behind her saying something about her making the ice cream right. I thought.. okay maybe my taste buds are wrong today and drove out the drive thru. But I parked and throughly mixed the ice cream around and literally couldn't find ANY Oreos.. only chocolate shavings. I wasn't trying to make it a big deal, there was clearly some mix up here.. but since I waited in the drive thru like 20 minutes AND was charged extra for each mix in, I was like "ugh, lemme just ask them to remake it." When I went inside, the same girl that was bickering was ready to go toe to toe with me, I spoke very calm and nice to her because.. it's literally just ice cream, but she was giving me attitude. I explained to her "idk what happened, but I'm telling you these aren't Oreos, they're Chocolate shavings, and she just kept telling me "I put Oreos in it, I put Oreos in it". I told her to look for herself.. it's chocolate, not Oreos, and then she said (with an attitude of course) "Do you want a cup of Oreos?" I told her "No, I just want it remade." Again, I paid extra for this.. can we just make it right so I can carry on? After I said that she just stopped talking to me and started messing with the cash register and ignoring me. I just stood there like "wtf.. it's just ice cream girly pop" 😂 She literally started taking other orders and walking around while I'm just waiting patiently. Eventually, another employee came over and asked me if I'd been helped and I was like ".....Kinda???" And then told him that my ice creams wrong and I just want the right one. He immediately handled it for me, shout out to him for not being weird. But of course, the same girl with the attitude went over to him while me was making it and was saying "I made it right, blah blah blah." I just told him thank you when he handed to me and kept it moving, buuut somebody needs to check on the young lady with the attitude....
Read moreThis is Betty Lynn Allen and I’m 95 years old and I was a customer at Your Fredericksburg Rd., Dairy Queen yesterday around noon. The man who was taking orders on the loudspeaker was extremely rude and I would like to have you pay attention to the kind of person you’ve hired to take orders he ended up telling us that he would not serve us If we want to eat, we would have to go inside, well we aren’t able to walk. We’re both handicapped and we had a driver. The driver was trying to take the orders to give my husband who just had surgery on his mouth to get him a milkshake and the man on the loudspeaker said to her I can’t understand you in a very rude voice. You’ll have to come in, well the driver is from Panama, and she has a a slight accent, but nothing that keeps you from understanding her, but it was difficult for her, so she gave asked me to place the order so I said OK I’ll take the order and he didn’t answer and I said hey, is anybody there and he came on the loudspeaker and hollered that I was rude “that you didn’t say hey there” to people like him and if we wanted service we would come in and he clicked off the Phone After that I called him again I said “hey sir” he came back said what and I said we can’t come in. We need to have service through the window. “Im not gonna serve you here and you have to drive on through and leave here you’re not gonna get service here” and that was that. whoever he is he needs to be taught a lesson and feel free to message me back. If you want more feedback, I do not know his name I know he was a young man, working around lunchtime and he had a very cranky voice and a very cranky face as we drove by. He waved us by in Distain . Read more7 p.m... Went in and ordered a banana split. The cashier was about to make it, when another female, stops her and tells her to give me the "one already made in freezer below". The container it was in was not a usual banana split container. Looked like it was the left over lump ice cream that is emptied out at closing or somebody's return mess up. The cashier takes it and adds to it the usual banana split toppings and hands it to me. It looked like slop. One big mush. And the strawberry topping looked old and frozen solid compared to the chocolate and pineapple. I told them I wanted a refund, since they had decided to give me an old lump of ice cream. The female that had given the ice cream to the cashier that waited on me, told me, "I just made it". And the manager was called. I got a full refund. Very disapointed. It is a shame, when you work somewhere and you have no sense of self pride in what you produce, at your job. The manager gave me the refund, but nothing else was said. No remedy, etc. I am contacting corporate office headquarters. This is why you have folks getting sick with salmonella and other food poisons. Liability...
