Worst experience ever. We came for our birthday dinner last night, last minute due to hot joy having an hour and 45 min wait time. There were 10 of us in the party, 6 adults and 4 kids, we showed up at 9:57, they closed at 11, so I can understand some discomfort in wanting to serve big party this late, and I wish you would have refused us service rather than make us waste your time and our money! This place has the worst service I have ever experienced. 1st someone from the kitchen area mentioned to customers near us that “They close at 11, but changed their open signed to closed at 10 because we walked in!” Not to mention we are a black family! Not sure if the “we,” was in reference to our color or the size of our party but that was EXTREMELY RUDE! I’m the birthday girl, my order was incorrect, my sisters cup had stains on it, my fathers order was incorrect, my daughter didn’t get her drink until asked for twice, my dad never got his drink, steak sauce, my friends order was incorrect, and we asked for 2 high chairs 3 times, and later found out we can have one! Not one staff member apologized when we mentioned it, just simply kept it moving. I will NEVER come back here, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. My family and I are HEAVY tippers when we go places that serve us correctly, this was the first time my father left no tip! We would have left after the first comment that was made in reference to our party, but we had small children who were hungry, and we’re from...

I hate doing this because I really loved the food. I had high expectations because I heard good things. I walked in, had a seat at the bar. The young (maybe intoxicated) lady next to me was ranting and raving over margaritas and enchiladas. I went for it. The margs are good. As are the enchiladas. Here's where the problems start. Why does the intoxicated lady know that it's happy hour while the server doesn't and has to check (after he told me it was the "normal menu")? If I didn't push them I would've paid different prices. I went for the choose 3 enchilada meal. Before I could finish the guy is correcting me on which enchiladas I should order or qualify. If there are only certain ones that apply maybe make that clear on the menu. He recommended the mole enchilada which, while decent, was the worst enchilada out of the three i ordered (it wasnt bad per se, it was just the worst one). To the average person "any" means any. The entire time I just felt unwelcome and wanted to leave. I finished my meal without asking for too much (another margarita or two made exactly the same way, etc.), paid, and left. I would've ordered more drinks and food to go but felt too uncomfortable to do so. Maybe they treat you better if you are a woman or something. I...

This was our first time frequenting this establishment. The atmosphere was okay. However, the service was very lacking. Took forever to get our drinks and it wasn't even that busy in the dining room. Then it took a long time to get our food and many of our plates came with cold food. We were a party of 16 people. The bartender apologized for the bad service and explained that they were short staffed. That is still no excuse for cold food. I personally decided to try the Baja fish because it was supposed to be good. I don't have to tell you how bad cold fish are. It's almost like rubber. The only thing I can give a positive review on this is the atmosphere and the drinks were great. Maybe I went on a bad day but I was not impressed with the food and neither were my family. The waitress that attended us didn't even offer to have my plate replaced. She just looked at me and said she'll take it off the bill. That's why I'm rating the service as 1 star. She was a horrible server. Trust me I have been to other restaurants were they were slammed and the food still came out hot! I don't mind if there is not enough staff and waiting a bit for food but when a server won't apologize or offer to correct the issue, it'll be hard to get me to go back to a...

Spacious. Friendly. Relaxing. Great Mexican. Enjoying the atmosphere. Waiter Jeff suggested the signature tostada dish. It came quite large an a metal tray. I loved the avocadoes in it and the beans and salad. The tostadas were hot and crispy! He was so nice that he kept refilling my black fresh coffee to keep it hot. Colorful art on the walls add to the decor. Large picture windows with San Antonio sun streaming inside. Perfect if you are alone or with a friend or two. Good place for conversation over foods. Many beers available, too. Beautiful Smithtown neighborhood with many homes with pillars in front. Easy to enjoy. TV on the wall was playing the news. Open all day. I came for breakfast. I really loved what I ordered. I also had the fried potatoes. Salsa was yummy on everything. Service was exceptional. They really show they care about the customers! Server Jeff asked how I liked everything. Fantastic, I said. You get good service. Definitely.

I had the mini tacos al carbon. They were very good. The meat was slightly tough but still very flavorful. The corn tortillas were fresh. Loved the toppings, the chopped onions, cilantro, & limes. Pro tip, add their salsa to the tacos. The tacos also came with charro beans. Oh my goodness, those were the best charro beans I've had in awhile. So tasty, just loved them. Their chips & salsa was also very good. The chips tasted fresh & their salsa was amazing, tasted homemade, a bit spicy but wonderful. My wife had the pollo poblano. I had a bite, it unfortunately didn't have much flavor; my wife didn't really enjoy it. My boys had a taco & quesadillas. They were good portion sizes & cheap. My mother-in-law had the avocado tacos. They came with two tacos & she gave me one. Wow, those were awesome. They were made with homemade corn tortillas, breath taking, so good. These might have been better than mine. I was very pleased with the food, yummy.

Visiting from Phoenix so I had realistic expectations of Mexican food here in San Antonio. Found Tito’s through a recommendation and it was really good. The excellent and must have: Tortilla Soup. Could’ve had just this and would have been good. Chips and salsa. Salsa had a good amount of heat to it. The good: Ribeye tacos and cilantro cream enchiladas. Something unique I wanted to try. Overall, good but not great. Room for improvement: service was really slow for the restaurant not being busy. Had to constantly ask for refills. Waiters seem to not be communicating and working together. Overall, a gem that is away from the riverwalk hustle and bustle. Really good Mexican food that is somewhat comparable to Phoenix Mexican food. Definitely worth the visit exclusively for the tortilla soup. FYI, I asked the hotel staff for establishments that were worthwhile and they were kind enough to suggest places away from the busy Riverwalk.
